Description

Can a kid fall in love and actually mean it? What is the one emotion that has everyone mystified? What is the one emotion that has started as many wars as it has ended? What emotion has had more plays, songs, and stories written about it than anything else? Love comes in so many different levels, that it doesn't appear to be the same emotion at all, but it is. There is so much to love. It can tear people apart and make us do irrational things to bringing together entire continents. What can this emotion not do? It's hard to tell, but there is a lot it can. So many legends surround this emotion, from the goddess of love to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. There's a very thin line between being thrilled and being terrified, when a child falls in love.

a story that touched me to the core

Few days back,I was checking out the novels in my regular bookstore and for a change I was looking for a novel by an Indian author. ‘Little LuckNow’ by author Nitya Prakash attracted my attention because of its catchy thoughtful title and a cute kid on its cover page,I went through the back cover, then and there only I was completely intrigued by it but still I didn’t expect this to be as entertaining as it turned out to be and truly novel kept up to my expectations.
This book is a story ...

Something new and worth reading! Chick Lit Readers please excuse!

I want to mention this book, though I didn’t want to do a regular review. It is a book worth reading. Have you ever read a book that just moved you to tears or leaves you feeling so emotionally exhausted you swear you were right there with the character of the book experiencing everything with them?
I love it when an author can invoke emotions in me with just their words. Little Lucknow is a very interesting insight into the mind of a 14 year-old discovering the beauty and horror of love.

A kid story- (Minus innocence)

Good thing about this book is its so light that you can finish it in one sitting, 2-4 hours at most. And worst this thing about this book is you will regret why the hell you spent even these few hours. (Apart from few bucks to Flipkart).

As the story claims, its certainly about a kid (if you call a 8th grader a kid) and his complex thought about a girl in his class. This kid is actually "Shahid Kappor" equivalent of "Ishq-Vishq" who has charm to attract most in school. He is not so studious...

I got it free. I still paid too much.

Editing was "quiet" bad. Grammar is horrible. I thought it would be something along the lines of Little Manhattan, but the name is where the similarity ends.

And of course, the book had to end with every Indian's dream of becoming an IITian or getting an Oscar.

I'm a great believer in free books/second hand books/discounted books.

After reading Nitya Prakash's Little LuckNow, I might buy my 8th copy of Silas Marner - anything to clean my palate. It leaves a bad after-taste on the soul.

Most pathetic work ever been through

I read the book yesterday. Hell of a book. I guess I have never seen anything worse than this. The plot is week, without any zeal in it. I wanted to sleep after I read twelve pages. Tonnes of grammatical mistakes, I guess the publishers were just too lame to let it be there. I'm in total support to the first reviewer of this book. They actually need an English tutor. No movement in the story, totally boring.

DO NOT BUY IT. YOU'LL REGRET WASTING YOUR MONEY.

Waste of time and money

This book is a nightmare to be honest.
Errors are evident with the cover page.....back page. Anyone who know basic english will pick up those errors.
Writer needs a english tutor.
It was my worst read ever.
