These speakers have more than decent sound quality, the bass is more than satisfactory on these things! However highs are almost non-existent, and after a certain volume, sound becomes extremely distorted. But you can expect with speakers less than 500 bucks.
The portability is impressive, but not perfect with regards to cable management.
Hope this helped you, and if you aren't going to use this for massive crowds or huge parties, just for a normal use, then I fully recommend you purchase these.

I got this speakers so that I could use it while watching movies thru my laptop. This is the one scenario, where the audiophile in me kind of mellows out, simply because for movies, all that really matters for me is how clear the speech sounds, which is something this product does well. Well, it is a cheap product considering the price-tag of the really good ones(unfortunately, none of them are available in Flipkart).

Anyways, for those who are into music, I would recommend this only if you are a casual music listener. In other words, don't use these with your DAW. The 20-20kHz is actually a limited range, even though it does cover the frequency response of the average untrained human ear. But for trained ears like mine, this speaker can only handle the mid-range. For high and low, all I hear is noise. So, if you are planning on doing some head banging, this is not the speakers for you.

So, on the overall:

Pros:
1) The Price. I would say, for that price, this may be one of the best ones out there.(Thats why I give this 4 stars)
2) Great for watching movies, where you give more important to speech.

Cons:
1) Limited Range. So, not good for music at all, unless you are a casual listener, who is not an audiophile and who doesn't care if all the notes of all the instruments are clearly audible at all times :)

I ordered this speaker 5 days ago and I got my hands on these on the day previous yesterday.
Being a user I can bet that though it is usb powered it can beat many AC powered 2.0 speakers currently prevailing in the market.
So, don't underestimate its sound quality no matter it is USB powered.

Pros-
Good sound quality(Sufficient sound to fill up your drawing room, but please don't compare its sound with any 2.1)
Build quality is up to the mark
Portable
Cable Management(cool feature)
Product outlook is also quite sexy

Cons-
Too early to say.

A must buy product at this price range, totally worthy for its price.

Design: Quite good looking despite the plastic exterior. Looks sleek and has a small footprint, which is important for those of us with limited desk space.

Performance: Found to be a little erratic in terms of volume levels. However this may be due to a bug in Windows 8. Also, there is not hardware control, so if you normally play, e.g. games at a low volume but music high, you might find it a bit tricky. But the clarity is decent, it powers through USB which is a pro or con depending on whether you have a shortage of power plug-in points or USB ports and I found it serving my needs very well

Overall: Great value for money. If you're on a budget, this is worth a shot.

Build Quality and Finish is exactly what we have come to expect of logitech over the years Great. The product feels like its been made to last. Setup is a breeze two cords one for the 3.5mm Jack and USB for power. The wire control feature is convenient. Look great and dont occupy a lot of space. Things go slightly down hill when it comes to sound. At low range things are fine but when you crank it up it loose steam. Sound starts to distort. A good sound equalizer software helps bring things under control.
If you have a small room and are on a budget these will get the job done. But cant help shake off the feeling that there are better speakers out there for a similar price...need to keep looking.
