Logitech Wireless Mouse M185

Flipkart did it again as usual, i ordered this product on an afternoon and next day morning the item is @ my desk. WOW. Flipkart does the same always. Its the best. Coming to M185, its such a lovely mice. compact and fits well in hand. Connect the micro receiver to ur laptop and .. POOOFFF!!! within seconds its all urs. Good accuracy and precision. A real value for Money. Already a a couple of ma frens have placed order for the same.

Logitech M 185 Wireless Mouse, in short terms is worth for your money... I switched over from a cheap quality laptop mouse to this product. I should be frank, Logitech has stood out again with its finesse and class.. I am not advertising for them but frankly they meet our requirements hands down...A fantastic product.

Pros:

1.Nano receiver is fantastic.. could have been more aesthetically designed to mesh completely with laptop. but still good.
2. Connect receiver to laptop and in exactly 10 Seconds, your mouse is ready... Super fast and very accurate..
3. No fancy lights and invisible optic sensor are really good features, which gives you a more soothing usage at night..
4. Range - 10m (too good. infact farther than 10 feet i could not read anything in laptop).
5. Hope tha battery holds long.. i havent tested it much. but hope it should live upto its expectations.
6. Value for money and warranty is good.

Cons:

1. In the lighter vein, it took me 5 minutes to open Flipkart packaging.. [:P]..really good packing.
2. On off Switch Could have been built a bit more sturdy and could have been a spring button underneath (Press to switch on and off)
3. Mouse Clicks a bit louder,(tick tick noise)...could have been reduced. Especially scroll click is really loud...

Overall:

I would rate 8/10 and worth every penny. Hope the cost reduces as there is too much competition.

This mouse would meet basic requiremnts with class and good finish.

Great wireless mouse for portable use with laptop:

Pros:
1. Good build quality.
2. Excellent wireless receiver.
3. Great click feedback on the buttons.
4. Excellent response and performance.
5. Amazing price performance ratio.

Cons:
1. Slightly bigger size for laptop use - could be designed to be smaller.
2. The software is useless - it just messes up the sensitivity on Windows 7 - do not install it.
3. The middle click button (on wheel) is too hard and very unpredictable.
4. The manual button at the base for switching on/off is too cumbersome - if you forget to turn it off, the battery will drain. There should have been an automatic cut-off after certain idle period to handle this.

The logitech m185 makes a fantastic wireless mouse at the entry level. While the price is a bit high compared to the competition (entry level mice with basic navigation and 3 button features), the ergonomic build and the compactness is miles ahead of others.

Pros :
- Great ergonomic design to fit the average human hand (L * W * H = 99mm * 60mm * 39mm as per Logitech website)
- Light to operate and carry (75g with battery as per Logitech website)
- Small footprint of the USB receiver means it gets concealed into the mouse without odd protrusions
- Color trims look nice especially the blue one. But surprising to see that colored ones cost more than the "basic" all black

Cons :
- The battery covering feels plasticky and does not feel built to last too many operations. Best to leave the wireless receiver in the laptop USB slot instead of putting it into the slot provided in the battery compartment to increase lifetime of the cover.
- The scroll wheel is the ugliest thing on the mouse and does not match the finish of the rest of the mouse.
- Small wireless receiver is also a con as it is liable to be misplaced if not placed in the USB slot or in the mouse

Performance wise , it scores good on the basic features of a mouse like navigation on any surface and smooth scrolling and click properties. Since battery is AA, it should last at least 6 months and the ON/OFF switch is a good thought.
All in all, probably the best wireless mouse for basic, non-gaming usage.

Undoubtedly Logitech-185 beat other competitors in entry level Mice.Only thing you are supposed to do is just plug and play and nothing else. No need of installing fuzzy drivers. software included in bundle isn't really useful in fact. Service in terms of warranty is outstanding in its price range compared to other competitors like Microsoft offering 3Years of warranty, after all what do you deserve for 735Rs other than peace of mind for mere 3 years.A Better supplement for tangle-free wireless upgrade. Transmission remain unaffected even the distance between mice and CPU is 20feet. At a glance score would be
