Synopsis and Features
The biggest surprise that Juliet Starling gets on her birthday is that she discovers her family is a group of zombie hunters. To top that, zombies have suddenly cropped up rearing their ugly heads and now Juliet must kill them all to save her neighbourhood. Wielding her trusted chainsaw, Juliet must now accept her sudden responsibility to slay the hideous monsters before it’s too late.
Developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Lollipop Chainsaw has many features that will keep you glued to your TV screens. The single-player campaign will take your across locations featuring the infamous San Romero high school. Dialogues in the game are one element that will surely interest every gamer as the playful banter is really funny. The game has an adrenaline-pumping soundtrack that features bands such as Dead or Alive and Toni Basil.
The weapons featured in the game are unique as you can kill enemies with items such as pom-poms, a chainsaw, a huge gun and many other things. You can combine your combat moves to unleash deadly attacks. The game features a dodge function, allowing you to dodge attacks from enemies. As you fight through the game you can unlock many combos, upgrading your combat moves.
The enemies in the game range from borderline crazy to insane as you fight opponents who explode if not killed fast enough and some with large quantities of health. The main goal of the game is to keep moving forward until you reach your final opponent. The bosses featured in the game are creatively designed and can damage you pretty well if you play slow. One of the bosses is a giant Viking-like creature who wields an electric axe. This boss is very powerful as he can split into 2 and will have you running around one while the other damages your health.
The other features in the game include the auto-aim feature, mini-games and several others. All these features make the game interesting, allowing you to come back to the game and play it some more. The updates, demos and wallpapers for the game can be downloaded from the PSN Network.
