This is a slightly deep red with blue/ purple undertones. A matte formula that spreads easily. I usually just dab the lipstick on my lips rather than swipe and it is enough to give a gorgeous beed red tone to your lips. I chose this over Blake Lively for everyday use and reserved Blake Liverly for ocassional use as Blake Lively shade is brighter, where as Frieda Pinto shade can be worn every day with just dabbing it. i am in LOVE with this shade. its a deep, grunge-y red which looks rich and classy. it'll suit almost every complexion, and its consistency is powdery. it may leave a stain, but then all lipsticks do, so its a good idea to use a chapstick first below it.
