    Summary Of The Book

Losing It: Making Weight Loss Simple is a great weight loss guide as it provides systematic methods to burn calories, which can be

imbibed into one’s daily routine. It does not advocate crash diets, but is effective in providing a long-term weight loss plan.
The book provides a list of food and beverages that are claimed by others to be healthy. It manages to debunk several myths about such diet products. It states why maintaining a healthy diet is essential for an active lifestyle. It even explains how excess weight is linked to several other lifestyle disorders.

For today’s fast-paced life, it provides tips on how one can create a balanced meal. It suggests various exercises that are easy to implement, even in a busy schedule. It places emphasis on fitness and shows how to get maximum benefit and nutrition through the right eating habits and exercise.

Does a trip to the gym help in burning extra fat? Is brown bread a healthier alternative to white bread? Does consuming banana make one fat? Is yogurt a healthy option? Which type of food is just a bunch of calories and which options are healthy? Are juice diets a good option? It answers all the questions that continually plague people's minds on a daily basis.

    Losing it : Worth it

I don't read much but this book caught my eye. Simply because my routine was changing and I wanted a more healthy lifestyle now. And so i picked up "LOSING IT".

Second thing i liked was the simplicity of the language. It was so easy to understand (which is the key for a healthy lifestyle) what Dhruv and Prachi are trying to tell us. And for the first time, becuase i understood,...

    Lost It....for good!!!!

During my school and college years we were subjected to a lot of motivational and guidance books and articles.....whose shelf life was merely a day or may be two if it was slightly a better read or you could use a quote or two to impress friends but that was it...... no good were they beyond it lacking practicality in our day to day routine....very frankly i picked up 'Losing it' with the same attitude..getting hands on a health tip and advising people and impressing friends and colleagues..

    Highly Recommended!

By far the BEST book i've read about Health and Fitness by an Indian author. It is worth every penny you pay for it and much more. In a nutshell the book is a sort of a rule book for all the DOs and DONTs concerning a healthy lifestyle; the book breaks common and widely popular myths, explains the working of each food and habit and how they affect your well being.
I was already pretty well-researched on alot of H & F topics, but i still benefited widely from the contents of this book. This b...
