This book qualifies for an enjoyable journey (bus, train or flight) reading, wherein you don't want to get too serious, but at the same time want to read some quality stuff. A nice read!
I enjoyed reading Love Films and Rock N Roll. The book has clearly pictured the present generation that lives in music, movies and love of course adds more flavors to life and blends it perfectly. A rollicking read
If you like music, you will love this book. If you like films, you will love this book. But this is really a book for anybody who likes a good, light read. This is as good a debut novel as any I've read in a long time. But what makes it special is how I could relate with so much of what the author was talking about. Pretty enjoyable
A nicely constructed story intertwined with the different aspects of the entertainment industry. The dreams and aspirations of the protagonists through their journey makes them real and lovable. It has that feel good factor that a good romcom would invoke in a person. Over all a pretty commendable effort for a first timer.

A Must have in your personal library.
A very well written book, full of humor and captivating moments which made me finish this book over a relaxing weekend in the sunderban. Characters in the book could have been brought out well and I feel that somewhere in part two of the book just zipped through.

It Rocks
If you grew up getting introduced to Rock music in the 80's/90's as I did then this book will make you smile with its witty references to music and bands. Swayam did well to bring out that essence which I could relate with. Overall a nice, light, anytime read that I strongly recommend.

definitely one of the better books on offer by first time indian author.
swayam does break away from the usual junk that gets written in the indian scene today.
it was a welcome relief to note that the author has spent some time doing research for the book unlike some others today.
the info on the bauls was very good.
the book does have a good flow and not once does it stutter.... im certainly looking forward to his second book now.
