Erich Segal was an American author, screenwriter and educator. He is best known for writing the screenplay and novel Love Story. He graduated from Harvard College in 1958, after which he completed his Master's and PhD in Comparative Literature from Harvard University. The author’s other books include Prizes, The Class, Doctors, and Oliver’s Story.
