Lowepro Adventura 120 DSLR Shoulder Bag

When I first bought Canon Powershot SX30 IS when it was first released in Dubai,it came with a free Canon carrying case. It could not protect the camera completely as it was open open on sides from dust and bumps. I tried several shops in Chennai and Secunderabad for more than an year but in vain.

Then Flipkart came to my rescue. I studied many reviews - Lowepro models - Rezo,Adventura120,Quick Case120,Stockholm120 & Caselogic models.

The Lowepro Quick case120 fits the camera tightly and though I liked it, I disliked the case weight attached to the camera strap and the spong like feel plus the cost. The top loading Rezo model was put aside as I could not grip & pull the camera freely.

The Adventura 120 acommodates and protects the camera very well. You have to insert the Velcro edged seperator provided with 1.5 inch gap from the left (looking like this " ] " viewed from top with Velcro side towards the case inside and 1 inch deep from top of the case yellow edge. Grip the camera and insert with lens cover towards seperator - Well you are a happy customer.

A word of caution the - Adventura 120 case looks bulky with heavy padding compared to Lowepro Quickcase 120. If are a serious photographer with quick draw and jump to action type, dont bother about cost and pack lightly you may opt for Quickcase 120.

As for Flipkart.com - undoubtedly they are one of the top and busy sellers with low prices compared to others & watchout the product you want to buy may be sold out the next day and reappear after one or two days later. Take your decision then and there.

The product has great quality and durability. The paddings would protect the camera and lenses from shocks and the case is compact and easy to handle for quick shots.

But WATCH OUT, the images shown above also includes that of the bigger Lowepro 170. The 120 can only fit a single camera with a 'not too long' lens.

Flipkart's delivery was good as always.

This bag is nicely padded and well cushioned and has a adjustable padded separator which can be use to divide main compartment into two. However this is a small bag(check dimension above), good enough to fit SLR camera along with 1 lens only. No space for extra lens. In front pocket there is small space for keeping extra batteries and memory card. Also there are two pockets on either side and one at back, good enough to keep some papers and/or small note book. Overall this a good walk around bag if you intend to carry your SLR with 1 lens, but if you want to carry more than 1 lens or other bigger accessory, such as extra flash, do look for a bigger bag than this.

I am using this bag for my Canon SX20IS. It's compact. My camera perfectly fits in it along with Sony Charger, four Sony rechargeable batteries, four additional alkaline batteries. I have been using this product for quite sometime now

I use to keep a Nikon L120, eight spare batteries, a Nikon AA charger with cord, a card reader, a few spare memory cards, a small tripod and a data cable. Stunningly all of this is a snug fit. It's an awesome bag for bridge cameras as well.

Perfectly water proof; being exposed to Mumbai rains and very high quality material, the strap is sturdy, has handy locks and zippers.

Cons: nothing really
