Lowepro Pro Runner 200 AW DSLR Trekking Backpack

Thirdly, the Pro Runner series by Lowepro is an excellent series of bags with many of my friends photographers using this series of bags since many years, excellent quality and usability, thus i went for this, affordable, life time warranty and a trusted brand. Nothing more we could ask for at this price tag. Once while carrying the equipment my bag by mistake fell down, but all the equipment was safe and undamaged.

The padding in the bag is very good, and feels nice and solid. It will protect your valuable camera and lenses from accidental drops or during travel.

The small divider pads that divide the inside of the bag into compartments can be actually moved because they attach to the sides of the pad with a velcro. This allows you to create compartments of different sizes to suit your lenses.

I've the following items in the bag right now:

1. 3x filters with case
2. 18-55 mm lens
3. 50mm lens
4. Canon EOS 550D DSLR camera
5. Canon battery charger
6. Lens hoods for two lenses
7. PC connectivity cable for the camera

I'll easily have space for another 3 or 4 lenses (assuming they're reasonably sized). If I have a large lens (like a 300mm prime), that can be attached to the camera while keeping in. This is possible because, again, the pads can be adjusted.

There are a two small velcro secured pouches inside the bag for storing extra memory cards. There's also a zipper into which you can put some papers or whatever.

The outside of the bag has zipper too, and has provision to carry a tripod of reasonable size and weight. There's also a all weather cover that can be pulled from under the back side of the bag, which is otherwise folded and secured into its compartment, locked by a velcro.

Couple of things that I felt could be improved:

1. I wish that the zippers were a little more smooth
2. The shoulder straps could have been well padded

Overall, it's a very good bag for Rs. 3650 that I paid.

If you are looking for a compact camera bag thats easy to carry around, this is perfect. If you are looking for a bag that fits your DSLR and related stuff, and still has room for your laptop and large personal items, this is not for you.

I was looking for a compact camera backpack that is easy to carry around. I didn't want one that has room for a laptop, clothes etc, I wanted something light that I can wear and forget about when I'm walking around. I have several regular backpacks that are fairly large, and this one is compact enough to fit inside if I want to carry it as hand baggage at the airport.

It easily holds my D5200 with 18-55mm lens attached, an additional 55-300 lens, charger, cables, manuals, 3 filters and still has plenty of room for more. The adjustable partitions are great, they ensure everything can be customized. The bag also has room to hold a tripod / monopod, and comes with a built-in rain-cover.

First things first .. Hats off to flipkart delivery system. Everything was superbly managed, right from the time I placed the order till I received it. The product (backpack) was immaculately packed... one would have to think 100 times before tampering ;)

Now to the backpack. I ordered this as I wasn't able to fit all my gear in my current bag.
What I liked about this bag = It's spacious... can hold Canon 40D with 70-200 f4 lens attached, 50mm, Tammy 17-50, and Tokina 11-16. Plus there's space for a shutter release as well! It has pockets for holding memory cards, and zippered pockets for other stuff like filters etc.
Looks pretty tough, and the inner padding is great. The tripod attachment is great. The icing on the cake is the rain protection cover, which can be tucked under the bag when not in use.
The only negative I found was the zippers. Would have been great if they were metallic zippers.
Excellent backpack for people who have 2-3 lenses, anything more you might have to get a bigger bag.

After buying a new lens, a flash and a tripod the free Nikon bag that i got with my Nikon D3100 seemed to become very small for all the gear.So it was time to get a new camera bag,The Lowepro AW Pro runner backpack series was the ideal one.Having a low budget i couldn't go for a high end one,So got the AW 200 last week.A perfect bag,i put all my gear in it and it can still carry another 70-300mm and a 35mm maybe.Everything in the bag is just perfect and the best quality.Also it is value for money.No problems faced whatsoever till now,however it just doesn't have space to carry a lappy,but that doesn't bother me as i don't own one.The nest model i think the AW 300 has got the slot available.So for all those people who are planning to buy a bag for their camera and want it to be a lowepro,this is the one and they should get it done from flipkart in no time.
