Mafia 2

The game is good except for the fact that the environment is totally underutilized....this game has a great story and graphics though....The problem I faced here was this game ran on steam services which means registering through internet first...and then steam would go not run in offline mode..plus i had to download 100 mb of a patch to run the game...When i bought the original DVD i expect the game to run without a glitch...

Well, I don't know how to explain this, but this game simply deserves a much more attention than what it has got.

There's so much goodness in this game, and I can't explain that in words.
Firstly, the game is really photorealistic.
The City of Empire Bay just looks gorgeous: from the realtime reflections on cars and buildings to character modeling to the superb crafted environment.

Then comes the story, and I must say, it's much much better than what GTA has achieved. The twists and turns make you so involved in the game that you can put down the game without finishing it.

Then comes the most important part, and i.e. Gameplay. And I must say, it's fluid.
From racking up behind covers to shooting bullets- they're just so satisfying.
Hand-to-Hand combats are the best I've seen in game like this.

Characterisation is also great, and the way you get involved with the main character, i.e. Vito is awesome.

The only complain I have with this game is that, it dosen't have any multiplayer to take advantage of it's huge gorgeous Empire Bay city.
But hey, the other things make up for it.

This game is surely a must buy, and it should be in every gamer's collection, not to mention the game has huge replaybility(including collection of the Playboy mags and Wanted posters).

I bought it a week ago and i was installing it and i found i have to download "5.5gb" to run it

The game is nice but some new modes are just exasperating and that is why it won't become the best-seller of the year on any one of the platforms. The gameplay is nice and astonishing though. Actually I did not order this game but I played it at one of my friend's place. The graphics are good but not fit for the sixth-generation platforms, they are highly compatible with the seventh-generation gaming consoles though. The levels and missions are very interesting and some are fit for the begginers or the amatuers
My buddy told me that the game is worth buying on a discount of a hundered bucks plus the Flipkart service is amazing.

First & foremost, I must say that Flipkart service is top notch. Got the game in 2 days with proper packaging.
This game has good graphics, nice cars, weather etc. However, when compared to the storyline of Mafia 1, it is not that good. One can feel as if he is Tommy Angelo in Mafia 1, but same is not true for Vito Scaletta of Mafia 2. Mafia 2 is more of work, work & work with less personal touch. The ending is quite good though, it shows the real face of Mafia. All in all, a good game.
