Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul is one of the most widely read authors writing in English. He has carved a niche for himself a homeless cosmopolitan of Indian origin, with West Indian social heritage and British citizenship. He has been writing for lastfive decades and has written novels short stories, non-fictional novels, travelogues, fictional autobiographies and biographies, journalistic writings and history among other things.
About Author :
Kamal Mehta is working as a Professor & Head, Department of English & Comprative Literary Studies, Saurashtra University, Rajkot. He is also the Coordinator, UGC Special Assistance programme on "Indian Renaissance Literatures in Gujarati, Hindi and English". He has completed three UGC Minor Research Projects and one Major Research Projects on "The Post-independence Indian Short stories in Gujarari & English: A Comprative study".
