Current research interests include organizational structure and innovation and strategic management of technology. Winner of two Academy of Management Best Paper Awards. Served as instructor at Stephen F. Austin State University and Iowa Western Community College. Served as Ad Hoc Reviewer, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, and Strategic Management Society; Index Editor, Academy of Management Journal. Member of the Academy of Management; Strategic Management Society; Past Board Member, Southwest Academy of Management. Garry D. Bruton Ph.D., Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, 1989. Professor Bruton has authored or co-authored over 50 articles in leading academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, the Journal of Business Venturing, and the Journal of High Technology Management Research. His principal research interests include high technology entrepreneurship and venture capital financing of new ventures.
