Management Tips is a collection of articles from the ‘Management Tip of the Day’ column in Harvard Business Review. It brings together helpful advice, handy tips, and good insights to help managers perform well. Written by experts, this guide has been divided into three parts. The first one focuses on how a manager must learn to manage himself. The second portion illustrates to readers how one should manage their team.
Lastly, the book provides guidance on how to manage one’s business. Each part of Management Tips has fifty tips.
Managers who are facing a range of challenges will find this book to be useful. It teaches how to manage one’s time, provides inputs on gaining confidence in order to become a good leader, and shows how to improve one’s work. In today’s world, the role of the manager is not constant, and it involves fulfilling many different goals. Not only must the manager increase the company’s profits and improve the team’s performance, but he or she must also focus on their own career. This guide teaches how to do things more efficiently and how to build relations with customers that are strong and long-lasting.
Management Tips is a book that need not be read in a sequential order. Managers can quickly look through its pages while on a short snack break. A few minutes each day can go a long way in improving one’s managerial skills. Penned down by expert thinkers, ideas in this guide are fresh, practical, and extremely helpful.
