Management for UGC-NET/SLET and Other Competitive Examinations is designed to help candidates prepare for the UGC NET/SLET Exam.
Summary Of The Book
The University Grants Commission designs and conducts tests to select candidates for the posts of lecturer and junior fellowship in various universities and colleges.
The NET/SLET Exams are held for many subjects, and one of them is Management. This book, Management for UGC-NET/SLET and Other Competitive Examinations, covers the syllabus for the management exam papers.
The book has been written based on questions from previous years’ UGC NET exams and other similar competitive exams that cover the subject of management. It covers not just objective type questions, but also essay type, evaluation, definition and analytical questions.
The topics and questions in the book have been divided into ten chapters, which facilitates a logical flow of topics, and makes it easy for the candidate to go through. The book fully covers the syllabus for the Management UGC NET exam.
It begins with a coverage of managerial economics and macroeconomics. It then proceeds to cover organizational behaviour and development, human resource management, and financial management.
The next chapters cover marketing environment and export marketing, operations research and production management, and Internal management and corporate strategy. The book then discusses entrepreneurship and small entrepreneurs, India's foreign trade and policy, and ethics and management systems.
The book provides brief explanations of concepts that will enable the readers to answer the different types of questions given in it for practice.
Though the subject coverage is concise and not extensive, it is comprehensive enough for a short review of the subject before taking the exam.
