A Must Read for all Music Lovers
This work of Bhyrappa brings out the dichotomy observed in the world of music, or for that matter the world of art: why is there so much of contradiction between an artist's art(which is pure) and his/her personal life where you see a veritable hell.
He extensively internalises the various bhava, raga, etc of Hindustani Classical music. The style of narration is also unique.
If any of you are highly familiar with many Ragas of Hindustani music, enjoy singing/playing/listening to Hindustani music, then you will be able to appreciate the subtler nuances all the more easily!
