Book Reviews of The Mango Drive Days
All Africans should read this book Review by Garfield BowenAs a child growing up in the West, I was told to serve the white jesus or I shall go to hell and burn; however as I grew older I realised that this was not our religion but one created by the Roman Emperor three hundred years after whom they call Jesus' death to as he said - "conquer the world". And oh how this religion has conquered Africa. Along with Islam this religion has Africans looking outside of their continent for a god, turning the other cheek to their oppressors, looking towards death for happiness, draping the faces of their females, sending their sons to die for Arabs. This book makes all these things clear in a nostalgic novel form. All people of African ancestry should read it; all mankind should read it.
