
Marianne Moore was a poet of deep observation. Through herobservation she found life primarily a struggle for survival. She focused onbeauty and ugliness, happiness and sorrow, and illusion and reality in anapparent contradiction. She sees temporal reality through the illusion orworldly existence. This publication is an attempt to see how far MarianneMoore perceives the reality of eternal life through the various images used inher poetry.
