Book: Marketing Of Tribal Products: The tribals were exploited by the non-tribals. The sell forest and agricultural products to local traders at abnormally lower prices. In order to save the tribals and weaker sections of the society from the exploitation of the private traders, moneylenders and others agency marketing co-operative society was established in 1947. This society plays an important role for marketing of tribal products at reasonable price. The society had a number of procurement centres where the tribals sell their products at reasonable prices.
This book throws adequate light on various aspects of marketingof products in the tribal sector and steps should be taken to help the tribal people for improving the standard of living of these people in the context of India's ensuing rural development. This book is very much helpful to the co-operative sectors, planners, scholars, teachers, management personnel,students, government, non-government organisations and other who are thinking about the rural development especially an tribal development of the country as a whole.
About Author :
Dr. Rabi N.Misra, has done his M.com in 1971, LL.B. in 1972, M.Phil in 1983. He was awarded Ph.D. from Berhampur Unviersity, Orissa in 1992. He joined as lecturer in commerce on 19.12.72. Dr. Misra has published 10 books and at present four books are under print.
Upto now, Dr. Misra has published more than 65 articles in different journals. He has produced tow Ph.D. scholars and three scholars are about to get Ph.D.At present he is also guiding four scholars.
Dr. Misra is also an Oriya poet. He has published five Oriya a poem books and two books are under print.
