Amiteshwar Ratra is Consultant in the Department of Women's Education, School of Continuing Education, Indira Gandhi, National Open University, Maidan Garhi at New Delhi. She had formal schooling in a convent school in Delhi, received her bachelor's degree from the University of Delhi, her master's degree from the Kurukshetra University at Kurukshetra, and her doctorate from the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University at Hisar. Praveen Kaur has very recently retired as Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University at Hisar. She received her bachelor's, master''s 'and her' doc''torate from the Banaras Hindu University a't Varanasi. She has over 38 years of experience in teaching and research, out of which spent nine years at Vasant Kanya Mahavidalaya at Varanasi, few years in the Department of Rural Sociology at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University at Hisar and rest in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at the Chaudhar Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University at Hisar.
