Quite Average
Well, after some usage of this filter I have discovered this to be of quite an average make. If you want to check out how CPL/Circular Polarizing filters actually work, then, you can try out a google search or some you tube videos (there are many) ... when compared to the these sources.. this particular unit seems quite average viz.. in the most simple of cases its ample but optimally, this piece of glass won't be be my choice.. Unfortunately i own this as it's also the only one which fits my 18-55 nex5k lens ... so have to rely on what ever tricks I have up my sleeve for optimum results..

Great for Sony NEX series camera
One of the coolest features of a circular polarizer is its ability to remove unwanted reflection from shiny surfaces like glass tables and water surface. For this, the filter is great. The filter is average for all the other uses of circular polarizer.
