Marumi 49 mm Ultra Violet Haze Filter

well this can be just to protect your main lens as i don't see other use of this product .. the photo are still clear so i can say its protective lens for your main expansive lens . i prefer to have as this will protect the main lens from any scratch .

well i am using it but its avg lens i don't think its really value for money as this type of lens can get in cheaper price in terms of value but i recommends to have this lens to protect main lens .

was little dispointed with the UV Filter, was expecting some more like other filter ..
but its good if u want to keep ur lens safe & secure.
it also help to keep safe our lens from Dust & other particles which can be affect on lens.
in photos doesnt seems any big change with & without Filter,/
can be check by taking pics of clouds,/
it reduces lil bit Ultra violet rays from the sun. but not in high range.

I bought the Marumi 49 mm for my Sony Nex 5 camera..the filter is extremely good, fits well and provides immense clarity to the outdoor shots...It also protects the camera's original lens from all the dust and smudges during usage..a must buy and timely delivered by Flipkart...at a price which is almost 20% lower than the market

This is a very decent lens filter for my Sony alpha nex-3 49diamter lens. There is no reduction in picture quality. Though I am not any expert with photography and lenses, who can measure subtle differences, I can say that this satisfies my needs for protecting a lens.

Got the delivery within 2 days form placing the order.
It fits perfectly on my Sony NEX-5K and works pretty well on it.
Good UV filter to also protect the camera lens from dust and rain.
A must buy for your SLR.
