Maulana Abul Kalam Azad: Selected Speeches And Writings

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad is one of the architects of modern secular India. He was not only a Muslim political leader but also an 'alim-e-din' (religious scholars) and his support for secularism and Hindu-Muslim unity is of great importance. Unfortunately, the modern generation does not know much about the Maulana's views and mission. Syed Shahabudin and Abul Kalam Azad Oriental Research Institute, Hydarbad, on whose behalf these lectures and writings have been compiled, have indeed done a great work by compiling these scholarly pieces in one volume. It will immensely benefit the historians and the readers in general.
