Bears have more than a passing resemblance to humans. Especially this bear, who takes pleasure in the little things in life, and, of course, the big things as well. He is generous to a fault, and if we are to take his word for it, a rather clever fellow.

But, like many of us, even our bear has days when he feels dreadfully alone &Fortunately, he knows exactly what to do about it. Philip Waechter responds to this very human dilemma by creating a wonderful character, drawn with a delicately spare line but informed with great compassion and love.
