Game Review - MOH Airborne

Hmm. It goes without saying that there is definitely something in this (2007) game, if I am writing a review in 2013.
I basically grew up with this game and earned my rifling and sniping stripes here, so obviously some sentimental attachment going on here. Apart from all this, MOH took a different approach with this game. Instead of just plopping you down on the battlefield, they went a step further by taking you to the battlefield. As the name suggests, you start out as a paratrooper, being dropped behind enemy lines in Italy, France and later Germany. So you are in the battle even when b...

So you are in the battle even when being dropped, as the game can change depending on the place you end up.
One of my personal favourites is where you can peek from a corner, while aiming down the rifle. If I am not wrong, it was probably one of the first game to feature that.

As the game progresses, you can start feeling the pressure with more determined enemy units, and you need to keep improvising to take them down.

Dont think people are still playing the multiplayer, but it used to fun.

Oh, if you do buy this game in 2013(like I did, pure nostalgia), then you might also have to download the Nvidia Legacy driver to bypass the games Physx requirements. Not a huge task, but a task nontheless. Some uninstalling and reinstalling required.

Overall, I would recommend this to any avid gamer. It is a must have and I consider this to be a classic.
On a more personal note, I had clicked on "notify me" on flipkart, about two years back, and had completely forgotten about it, but when it did pop up in stock this week, I wasted no time in purchasing it. It is a steal for 299/- and it totally worth it.i.e if you, like me, are into bolt action rifles and old school sniping than the new ones..

DONT BUY THIS GAME

THIS IS THE WORST POSSIBLE GAME ON THE WORLD TOTALY BAD EXPERIENCE AND THIS STARTS HAVING RUNNING ISSUED AFTER SOME WEEKS IT HAPPENED TO BOTH ME AND MY FRIEND . FLIPKART DILIVERED IT FAST BUT IT DID NOT HAVE THE CLASS TO COMPETE WITH BEST GAMES. IT DOES NOT HAVE A GOOD SINGLE PLAYER ON ITS OWN AND MULTIPLAYER IS VERY BAD .

More than just your standard FPS ( First person Shooter)

This game is better than standard fps because it involves paratroopers, Yes you heard it right . Set during WW II you play as American paratrooper. Jump from a plane , glide towards your desired spot and fight your way to victory. The soundtrack by EA is pretty awesome; also the movies. Its doesn't have a really strong mult-player community considering its a bit old and cause of EA's shitty servers and glitches. Good graphics and overall fully satisfied with the purchase
