Satish Chandra’s Medieval India : From Sultanat to the Mughals Mughal Empire (1526-1748) Part Two covers the history of India as it transitioned between the Delhi Sultanat to the Mughal rule. The book details the situation of the country at that time and explains the factors that led to the fall of the Sultanat. It also lists the various socio-economic factors that eventually favoured the rise of the Mughal Empire. In addition it also explains the various cultural improvements in the country during this phase and follows as a sequel to the writer’s previous work.

Satish Chandra is an acclaimed author and historian.
