The Meelectronics Original M Series M21 is an elegantly designed headphone that is highly impressive with its audio quality. The in-the-ear design has been incorporated the comfort factor especially when it comes to extended durations of use. This in-ear-canalphone ensures a secure fit that eliminates the need to frequently adjust the ear buds. This device is compatible for use with a range of portable audio players and it offers you wired connectivity with the audio source.

Design

This ergonomically designed headphone comes fitted with two ear buds that utilise the anatomy of your ear to create a nearly complete acoustic seal. This headphone aids to distortion-free listening by restricting most of the ambient noise from bringing down the audio quality. The ear buds shoot a cable downwards to meet a 3.5 mm audio plug that bears the responsibility of pairing with the audio source. This cable rests under your chin for ease of maintenance and sports a clip to help you plug it to your shirt. The 1.3 m long cable gives you sufficient space to conveniently place the audio source within manageable distance.

Sound

This headphone comes embedded with two 6.8 mm headphone driver units that bear the responsibility of converting the electrical signals into sound waves. These units come with 16 ohm of impedance that ensures sufficient sound produced from every beat. Additionally, this headphone is highly efficient as it transforms every mW of electrical input into 92 dB of sound waves. As the frequency response of this device lies between 20 Hz and 20000 Hz, you will find that every beat present in the original track is attributed with sufficient amount of volume. This headphone supports maximum 20 mW of power input.

Not Satisfied By What The Product Promise To Deliver :P

I Have Recieved The Product,Nevertheless Awesome Service,The Product Reached Ranchi @11.17 And I Recieved It By 12.
The Product Doesn't Offer Great Bass.I Love Bass Which Expands A Little,Not Hit Your Eardrums. Its Definitely Not For The Bass Heads.
Now I Have Experienced,What The Reviewers Feel When They Are Not Satisfied By The Product,And To Save Others Write Reviews.
For Pleasant Listening Its Perfect But Wouldn't Recommend,As The Price Would Be Too High As Compared To The Quality Offered,You Must Look For Other Alternatives,This Product Should Have Been Made Available In The Range Of 800-1100,So That I Can Give It A 4 Star.
If Are Ready To Spend A 1400,My Advice Would Be,Add A Little More Or Lower Down Your Budget And Go For Better Alternatives. :)
I Did A Lot Of Research Reading Reviews,Now I Feel The Pain Of Reviewers :P.
Not Recommended At This Price Range.
But Nice Carry Pouch And Wire Quality(long Lasting).

Perfect for rock and roll, in general instrument-based music

Flipkart
--------
Delivery way before expected date, packaging perfect as usual. 10/10 here, especially for delivery tracking.

Packaging
---------
Comes in a neat box with a clamshell case that's a bit small but has a tiny pouch within which you can keep all the tips, so that's a plus.

Build Quality
-------------
This thing is built like a tank. It's the most rugged pair I've ever set my hands/eyes on.

Sound
-----

Burn-in: 15-20 hours as of now, if there's a drastic change later I'll update this section, though I doubt it.

Equipment used:
Samsung Galaxy S with CyanogenMod 9 and Poweramp
Dell XPS 15

Tracks heard:
Mostly classic rock, progressive metal, some classical. In general: drums, clean/overdriven guitars, bass, keyboards, vocals; sometimes violin, cello.

Tips used: Double-flanged stock - they bring out the best sound for me. Single-flanged might work for some.

Bass: It's predominantly mid-bass heavy, and it DOESN'T bleed. It's perfect for someone who feels bass is important and music sounds dry/empty without it, but doesn't want two subwoofers thrust in their ears. If you're a basshead or love electronic booms, get the CX200s or E10s instead.

Mids: Slightly recessed, vocals lovers might want to equalise it a bit higher, but guitars and snares sound tight and pleasant.

Treble: Obviously nowhere near as good as an audiophile-grade IEM, but it doesn't do anything wrong either. At extremely high volumes the high-hats/cymbals might sound a bit north of pleasant, but that can be equalised anyway.

Soundstage: Wide, not very deep, but MUCH better than the PL21s. Comparable to the Ultimate Ears 200.

Clarity and detail: Again, nowhere near an audiophile-grade IEM, but nowhere near disappointing. Good instrument-separation. This IS the weakest point though, which is why it gets one star less. (Honestly I wouldn't expect myself to give any earphones at this price a 5).

Conclusion
----------
Amazing build quality, great sound: imagine balanced output that's just slightly warmed up by the bass and a SLIGHT mid-drop. Best for instrument-based music in general, and at a decent price. Not meant for very loud hearing though - turn the knob up to 11 on a powerful source (laptop or PC) and it might begin to distort. Works fine at full volumes on portable devices. Obviously no amp required for any purposes.

Great buy

Pros: After about 50hrs of burn in, sounded great. Bass is tight and precise. If you want really a lot of bass, then go for something else. The highs may get a little harsh in a few songs. Solved if you got an EQ. Mids really shine. Guitars will sound brilliant and all instruments will sound live.

Wire is of good quality. I got this to replace my last headphone which had very poor quality wire. Build quality is great.

Con: Protrudes out of your ears a little. I didnt like any of the tips provided with it (All of them seemed a little rough and hard rubber). Softer tips from my previous headphone worked wonders, also improved the bass a little.

Other thoughts: Would be great if I had got these for 1200 or less :(. Volume aint that great from my Optimus One, but nothing that I cant live without.
