Find a place to stop what you're doing for five or ten minutes, read one or two of the stories in this book. Then you'll want to take the rest home and share them with your friends and family. As a young reader I found that reading a long book was often times overwhelming. That is just one of the reasons that I chose to write stories that are short, stories that can be picked up, read, and enjoyed in just a few minutes. I also chose to write short stories because when my own kids were young I wanted bedtime stories to read to them, so I began writing my own. When I was in the process of writing the stories in this collection I had a friend that wanted to share them with her kids. I figured that was a good way to test a new story.
