  • Description

The book tries to answer some of the most universal questions about men and women and uncover the mystery behind what makes them so different from each other.

    Summary Of The Book

Ever wondered why women talk more than men? Or why men generally prefer to do one thing at a time? Or why women excel at one thing while men at another? Allan and Barbara Pease have all the answers on why men and women are so different and what can be done about it.

The writer couple travelled far and wide, met a lot of different people, and arrived at some startling conclusions about the two sexes. In this book, they have put down the findings of their research that deal with some of the most fundamental questions people discuss about men and women.

The book takes a look at gender roles from the pre-historic period, when man was a hunter and woman the nest-keeper, and shows how these roles developed over time and manifested in present day situations. It cites a number of interesting sociological and psychological studies in support of the views presented.

In essence, the book tries to highlight some inherent, biological differences in men and women that might be impossible to bridge regardless of any amount of socio-political propaganda about gender equality.

    good explainations

opposites attract thats the holistic approach to this best seller...you wanna know about your better half and they tend to give meaningful explainations to all you can observe.
I liked this book not because it's a best seller but moreover because it gives a complete dichotomy and relatedness between the two sexes.

    AWESOME is the word

This book is the best of Allan and Barbara. it not only tells you abt opposite gender, but also help you to be self aware of your own gender.

Been a girl, I understood, why I am the way I am ? while readinng the book, i also understood, why sometimes we feel boys are weird, and so different from girls?

Book has rightly said, men and women are just different. Nobody is superior to other.

This book definitely help me to understand my bro, my friends even more. it has a very simple begginni...

    Take all my stars.

This book is not hilarious, it's howlarious. Big fan of the duo's work and all the research. And to have them presented in such a simple, interesting format is a treat. Throughout the book you will find all sorts of information and amidst all that are sprinkled hilarious one liners and goofy illustrations. I literally laughed at every two pages on an average.

Why Men Do Not Listen and Women Can Not Read Maps

An amazing explanation of how men and women are biologically wired differently leading to completely different behavioural patterns in the same situation. Obviously it leads to fights and arguments! And it is so very funny - you actually see yourself being played out as the words unfurl - so when you see it objectively, it is hilarious!

If you think that you have read Man are from Mars & Woman from Venus and so you know all. You may find yourself wrong after reading this book. I ordered it after I read it, for my collection. A must read to revive our relationships and understand the better half.
