Summary of the Book
George and Lennie are drifters who go wherever work takes them. They find work at a ranch as soon as they arrive in California’s Salinas Valley and the two decide that they will do their best to not get into trouble. If they manage this, then George and Lennie could get a place of their own that they could call home. However, Lennie is not one to control his emotions and is seen as a threat to people around. This time, even George may not be able to help his friend.
About John Steinbeck
John Steinbeck was an American author who had authored twenty-seven books. He is widely known for his book The Grapes of Wrath that won a Pulitzer Prize. He has also written East of Eden and Of Mice and Men. He 1962, he received the Nobel Prize for Literature.
