Micromax A73

Its been a week i am using this. Just wanna say a thing - If you are new to android and haven't used a touchscreen mobile yet just don't think and go for it. That too its a dual sim mobile phone.

Before buying this i had a lots of question in my mind whether to buy this is not as it is not much renowned company. I had some two three choices also like Spice MI 350n and Samsung Galaxy Y GT Duos but believe me Micromax A73 is the best catch. Recently i've seen and compared my micromax with galaxy y duos S6102 but in my opinion just dont fall for that 832 MHz speed of samsung, 650 MHz is also great for first time users.

Pros:

- Great phone, big touchscreen.
- Amazing battery life.
- Very slim and feels great in hands.
- Absolutely amazing camera. I think it should me more than 2MP written on it.
- Even the front facing camera is unbelievable. Very high clarity.
- Wifi, bluetooth everything runs great.

Cons:

- If u r a gamer you will be disappointed as high graphics game doesnt work but some other cool games does work.
- Thats it and i dont feel anything else negative about it.

So, if you are in a confusion whether to buy Samsung galaxy y
or Micromax A73 Superfone Buzz, they theres nothing to think. I've seen Samsung, its screen is very small compared to Micromax and Camera is not at all good donno how they wrote 3MP on it.
So, this is the best dual sim android phone in the market in this price range.

Frnds...........wow...... super cool mobile from micromax.....go for it without asking much questions to your mind....... if you are a new android user...then go for it and experience the power of android in your hands........ i bought this phone from the local market ........ 14 days went..... no problems yet !~!!!!!
Superb mobile !!
everything is good ..... except the rear camera if it would have been 5 mp or 3.2 mp then samsung would have gone crazy !!!!! well ... according to me this isn't a crap from micromax like the other mobiles........ go for it !!! i am enjoying the quality .... and yes...it is a strong mobile fell from my hand once ... nothning happend .. not a single scratch... and the touch really like water !!! too smooth !!!

an awesome product from Micromax with large capacitive screen, good processor.
hats off to Flipkart again :) quick delivery and quality packing.. u cant get better than dis in free home delivery.

Pros:
1. sensitive 3.5" capacitive, multi touch screen
2. good 650MHz processor
3. 140MB RAM
4. 2.0MP is acceptable
Cons:
1. pre-installed apps r irritating, coz u cant remove those.

Conclusion:
what more u are expecting in 7265??
better than A70

Thank you for providing me a world class service. My mobile had a display issue & Flipkart sent another phone within days of giving complaint. I was having both faulty & the replaced phone on hands to take my all data (who can give this kind of support accept Flipkart) & also they have arranged the pickup for my faulty one.
Micromax
They have provided a very good phone which can fit into our pocket perfectly with great specification. But they can make it much better if they could have increased the cpu speed & the built in memory a bit more to have a great competition with others. But if you are really new to android & touch phone just go for it.
For users who have purchased & above to purchase.
I have installed some application which turned my Smartphone much smarter. This applications are so good that it does not make my phone slower. Inbuilt application are not good enough to satisfy us.
1. Go launcher EX & iPhone notification: for having a good interface & ios like notification.
2. GO sms pro: for complete sms/mms solution.
3. Flashlight : use your camera flash as a night light.
4. ES File explorer: for file manager (inbuilt is good but not enough).
5. Bootlog Timeup & Android System Info: Keep track of your Gingerbread and device health status.
6. Disk usage & ZDbox: to keep track of ongoing task & keeping an eagle eye for inbuilt memory.
7. Kingsoft Office, Memo Pad & Document scanner trial: A complete office application.
8. Mx Player, winamp or Realplayer: MX can play any format in the world.
9. Dolphin browser: Browsing experience is blazing fast in wifi.
10. Touchpal: Swype like experience( beware it will keep record of the things it types and record in its own dictionary, do not enter any financial records.
11. Sha plus Caller info: Want to know from where the calls are coming from mobile, landline, which network/state/country. works well for India as well for the international numbers.

I ordered this phone on flipkart on 28-Mar-12 at around 8 in the evening. The expected time of delivery was mentioned as 2nd Apr. But on 30-Mar it was delivered at my office. Flipkart take a bow and keep up the good work.

Now coming to the review part. The following make the phone a steal at this price:

-- Nice looks.
-- Good build quality.
-- Very good battery backup.
The battery easily runs for 48+ hrs. I fully charged the
battery and then used the phone for:
* 3 hrs of music
* 2 hrs of talking
* Continuous wi-fi and gps on
I had switched the screen brightness to low and did not use
3g much. Did switch on gprs for searching a few terms.
With this usage I got 56 hrs of battery life.
For an android phone this deserves a medal I believe.

-- Sound quality is not phenomenal but is decent enough to let
you fully enjoy music.

-- Smooth touch

-- Free scratch guard in the box :)

The phone does leave a few things desired:

-- Awful camera. Without very bright light, the camera performs
poorly as it can not focus properly. Agreed that you can not
be doing a photoshoot with 2MP camera. But still I expected
better than this phone gives.

-- The battery charging time is humongous.
But as I said, once charged it does stay on quite long.

-- A bundled pdf reader would have been wonderful.

All in all I find this a very good buy and I am a happy customer .
