What is the estimated delivery time?
Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:
It is possible that the Seller or our courier partners observe a holiday between the day you placed your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.
For items listed as "In Stock", Sellers will mention the delivery time based on your location pincode (usually 2-3 business days, 4-5 business days or 4-6 business days in areas where standard courier service is available). For other areas, orders will be sent by Registered Post through the Indian Postal Service which may take 1-2 weeks depending on the location.
The Seller might not have the item in stock but can procure it when an order is placed. The delivery time will depend on the estimated procurement time and the estimated shipping time to your location.
'Preorder' or 'Forthcoming'
Such items are expected to be released soon and can be pre-booked for you. The item will be shipped to you on the day of it's official release launch and will reach you in 2 to 6 business days. The Preorder duration varies from item to item. Once known, release time and date is mentioned. (Eg. 5th May, August 3rd week)
'Out of Stock'
Currently, the item is not available for sale. Use the 'Notify Me' feature to know once it is available for purchase.
Sometimes, items have to be sourced by Sellers from outside India. These items are mentioned as 'Imported' on the product page and can take at least 10 days or more to be delivered to you.
'Back In Stock Soon'
The item is popular and is sold out. You can however 'book' an order for the product and it will be shipped according to the timelines mentioned by the Seller.
The product is currently out of stock and is not available for purchase. The product could to be in stock soon. Use the 'Notify Me' feature to know when it is available for purchase.
This product is no longer available because it is obsolete and/or its production has been discontinued.
'Out of Print'
This product is not available because it is no longer published and has been permanently discontinued.
You have probably noticed varying estimated delivery times for Sellers of the product you are interested in. Delivery times are influenced by product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination and the courier partner's time-to-deliver to your location.
Please enter your default pin code on the product page (you don't have to enter it every single time) to know more accurate delivery times on the product page itself.

You have given an Ad. in the Times of India [30 Dec 2013] page no 20, stating the price as Rs 10999 for the same mobile. When i logged in the morning today [30 Dec] at 9.30 AM price on flipkart shows as Rs 13295/- for the same mobile. Why give a wrong Ad in the paper when you cannot sell the product for the price advertised in the newspaper?? Disappointing! When i called flipkart customer support, they say prices change every minute, i have not seen that happening in days!! I have been checking the prices of Micromax mobiles online for the past 3 days and prices have not changed at all..... So pls do not give an AD in the newspaper for lesser price if you cannot sell it for the same price on the website.
Unfortunately Flipkart since you had priced it wrong this morning, i went ahead and bought it from the local store for 12500/-.
Perhaps I am unfortunate and have ended up with a bad handset but nothing can excuse the terrible service Micromax offers its customers. If you are thinking of buying this phone (or any of the other Micromax phones on offer) I would advise you to reconsider and explore phones (or TVs or whatever else you are considering) from some of the other established manufacturers out in the market.
To give you more background (and this is just a sob story, so expect a lot of whining and a lot of complaining), I spent a lot of time researching the web for reviews and tech specs of all the budget phones available in the market. I have to admit, given my budget constraints, the Canvas HD was not my first preference and the reason I purchased it was because Lenovo phones weren’t quite as popular and because I had my reservations on the quality of service they might afford, if and when needed later. The underlying assumption was that the significant client base that Micromax had garnered would imply a reliable and wide base of customer service. Boy was I wrong on all counts.
After buying the phone in April 2013, my wife used it for a grand total of 2 months after which the touchscreen stopped responding. Happily, we found a service center not very far from my wife's workplace but that was where our happiness ended. The trip to the service center involved a 4 hour wait (I kid you not!), just to get the phone inspected by the engineers. The sheer number of people waiting to submit their Canvas HDs was rather disconcerting. Nonetheless, the hopeless optimist in me hoped that the phone would not spend more than 15 days in the service center, as assured by them. Foolish and naive me.
Repeated visits to the service center to enquire about the status of repairs were always greeted by "We'll call you with an update." Like a fool in love, I kept waiting for their call, not knowing that this relationship was doomed and I was being stood up. My wife though, is smarter than me and after three months of fighting and abusing and cursing and following up with customer care over twitter and email, she finally had the phone in hand.
Note: Time since phone has been purchased: approx. 5 months, time we have had it, approx. 2 months.
So, cheerfully, we took charge of our beloved phone, almost ready to forgive and forget. This story though, has no happy ending or a happy between or a happy before-the-end or anything to do with any joy what so ever, so you might as well be prepared for more sobbing.
The phone had several signs of physical damage, on the metal band along its edge and disturbingly, the menu options at the bottom, which were near transparent. Another argument later, they begrudgingly took it back and we were returned a better looking phone, IMEI updated on the original bill, et al.
We kept the phone in the box, intent on using it after we had the screen guard and case in place. Given our white-collared slavery though, we weren’t able to put the necessary protection in place for a few weeks and when we did finally have everything in place, we realized that the earpiece wasn’t functioning. Moreover, put the phone to charge and it would shut down.
Once again, we faced the daunting task of spending a few hours at the service center. This time though, I decided to be smart and choose a different service center, to hopefully have a better experience. (Keeping with the theme of this story though), "SOB!"
The service center informed us that the IMEI on the bill and that of the phone was different and they couldn’t accept the phone! We made our way back to the original service center, who said that it was an honest mistake, promptly changed the IMEI, stamped the bill and took it in for repairs, in the first week of November. After waiting patiently (If you are looking for some positive, you can take one here: I am a more patient man thanks to this experience!), we finally called up customer care, fought to speak with some seniors and asked them for a speedy resolution. The day was 30 Dec 2013. We were assured of a resolution within a max of 10 working days.
Today is the 13th of Feb, 2014. Needless to say, no response and I have absolutely no idea of what they have done with my kidnapped phone. Sigh.
I have recently approached the consumer forum and shall definitely be pursuing legal action. Should you still buy a Micromax? I hope you can answer that question yourself.
Oh! And just to sum up,
Number of months since purchase: 10,
Number of months of use: 2,
Number of months of repossession by Micromax: 7.
I haven’t begun counting the interest they owe me on INR15,250 that I paid Micromax to hold my phone hostage (Weird kidnapping this, the ransom was paid beforehand!)
In case you are a die-hard Micromax fan though, I have all the electronic records of our email conversations with Micromax and the recorded voice calls of all the customer care assurances. I'll gladly let you verify them for yourself.
I bought this phone from flipkart. I have nothing against flipkart, it is the best online shopping website but I have my grudges against this phone. So just be with me for some time.
I bought this mobile on 5th july 2013 for 12729/- just because I fell for the wrong reviews on some of the websites. I thought of saving a few extra bucks which I would have spent if I would have bought a Sony/Samsung phone with the same configuration. I bet many of you think so too. Just be with me for a little while. Your 5 minutes of reading can save you 12000.
I got the product on 6th July but that was a faulty piece. It didn't start up. So I called the website and they arranged a replacement. I got the replacement on 7th July(thanks to awesome flipkart services) and that one worked well for the first two months. Then it followed with a whole lot of problems.
First, its touch screen became faulty. I touched it somewhere and it executed the function of someplace else. I took it to the service center, they kept my phone for a week and gave it back to me.
Then it worked fine for a week and then its charging point became faulty. The phone didn't get charged at all. I took it to the service centre on 18th September and it was a week back( 27th January'2014) that I got my phone back...Yes..!!...more than 4 months...!!
They told me that it would take 20 days to make the phone good as new but they took 4 months.
I called them on 8th October and they said 15 more days...
I called them on 25th October and they said 12 more days...
I called them on 12th November and they said 12 more days...
I called them on 25th November and they said a week more...
I called them on 10th December and they said 15 more days...
I called them on 2nd January and they said 10 more days....
I called them on 17th January and they said 5 more days....
and finally I got my phone back on 27th January....
and wait...it doesn't end here....
When I got it back, its Wi-fi is faulty. It sometimes doesn't catch the Wi-fi signals even when I am sitting 5 feet next to the router. But that was a minor problem so I ignored that..
Now now, its charging point has become faulty again, with the same problem....IT DOESN'T GET CHARGED....!!!
I fear that if I take it back to the service center, they would keep it for 4 more months. I ask them- What is the point of a one year warranty if you keep it with yourself for 4 and a half months out of its first 6 months..???
This phone is the worst purchase I have ever made on internet. Nothing against the websites, they give amazing service. But don't go for micromax. Spend a few extra bucks and go for Sony/Samsung and spare yourself the headache for an extra Rs. 4000/-
Go for micromax if you want to buy a phone worth 3000-4000 because they have long battery life and all that. But this is not a company from which you can buy a 12000/- worth mobile.
OR go for micromax if you have tons of money and you don't care if your 12000 go down the gutter. I care for my money and therefore, Micromax is a big NO-NO....!!!
I purchased this phone from local market. After having used it for 10 days i review this phone as below:-
1) Build quality is nice n it feels premium
2) Battery is amazing, lasts for a day with 2 sims and 3g with moderate use
3) Touch great and display is beautiful, viewing anglez great
4) Performance is outstanding n no lags, no heating unlike lumia 520
5) Network is superb, no call drops, 3g works on both sim cards
6) Camera is great for outdoors only
7) Truly value for money
1) Speaker and in call audio is too less
2) Internal memory is less for heavy games( but u can root and make sd card as internal memory)
3) Flash is not powerful
This phone is a beast. Better than xperia C, quattro which are priced more than this phone.. buy it u will never regret
The final finishing of the product was too sleek and handy and awesome looking in all the angles...!
Compared to other companies the specs are super & micromax is offering at a affordable pricing,
best price to grab this superphone is 12K...!
"COLORS CAN COME ALIVE...!"
no hangings, no bugs, everything is perfect.
micromax has improved in many aspects comparatively from past canvas phones.
Surely it will be in top and monopolize the Smartphones Market In Coming Years...!
