Good Budget Phone
To begin with, Micromax GC256 is a very basic cdma gsm dual phone.Very much compact in size,screen size is just ok. keypad is small and compact. Camera is just a mere formalty in this phone. Music features are very basic but i am surprised by loudness of speaker,Which at maximum volume tends to break up but with earphones its ok.Bluetooth version is old thus data transfer is slow.Gprs is ok.
This phone is a good choice for people looking for cdma gsm dual. as battery performance is ok... it last for a day witin normal usage. Seeing the market, I would suggest that its a good phone to buy at this price point. overall i am pleased with the performance of the phone as in this category choice is very limited.

WORTH FOR MONEY!!
hello friends m using it since 1 years its only good phone within the range 0f 2500 having many features but not of standard.
OS:
based on java platform its OS is good and all features is also good.
HARDWARE:
Hardware is not of standard. Within 3 months of purchase the charger became UNSERVICEABLE jst because of its unique shaped charging connector. i have tried to find it in many places in my town but didn't got.
After 10 months it started stucking frequently black-out of screen. getting too hot on use more than 15-20 mins.
it is better to go for a low priced mobile phone of leading brand eg. Nokia, Samsung, Sony.

better than gc275
micromax models gc256 and gc275 are nearly identical models with gc256 being marginally better in looks. since dual SIM GSM and CDMA mobiles are not too many in number, this one is a good entry-level choice. There are not many additional features though. Battery backup is decent. But one should avoid using loudspeakers too often to conserve power.

Best price in the market for a dual CDMA & GSM fone. surprisingly the CDMA slot can also be used for a GSM sim as well. Loud sound, simple to use and basic needs are fulfilled. a free microsd card reader is the icing on the cake.
If u are a cdma/gsm user with a restricted budget, this is the best choice.
Flipkart lighting speed delivery is commendable once again.
