Purchased this via flipkart.com COD. Nice sleek phone, included accessories are a bonus such as phone cover, etc. the music quality in speaker phone mode is better than most phones due to Yamaha amplifier, altho the Headphones sounded better when tested on a sony ericsson phone. The SRS sound effects are good for bollywood music but produce muddy beats in trance tracks. Phone is fast as long as you are not playing music while simultaneous doing other tasks, eg- msging or checking out other features. Message capacity is limited to 200 sms'es.

You can't expand memory as 2GB is inbuilt and no slot for Micro SD card. Battery life is ok, runs 2 days on heavy music playing.

Pros: stylish design, touchwheel, loud speakers, headphones, ipod like mp3 player, dual sim, 2GB memory

Cons: slow when music is playing in background, no expandable memory, phone OS feels a bit outdated, no 3G support.

Overall 7.5 / 10.
If ur a music lover, all cons go right into the dustbin. Gr8 for playing rock music, bollywood, radio sounds gr8, headphones are awesome. Recommended.~!!

Really good for music..

headset and earphone along with the package.

headset - bass boost is pretty awesome.
Battery backup is very good.

navigation wheel is gud touch sensitive. u can also disable it
from phone settings, if u r not comfortable with it.

Little bit lengthier. But its nice to handle. I liked it.
Its better not to switch it on public. Because the welcome music is bit lengthier and some what catchy. Unfortunately i could not find an option to disable welcome music. :(

loud speaker sound and clarity is also nice. 2 mp camera is ok.
wat else u expect for set for 2k.??
Dint check the GPRS feature. So speed and response no idea.

I guess inserting battery and inserting sim card is not that easier n we need to b cautious while doing the same. else it can damage the sim inserting ports..

Overall awesome.. "Nothing like anything" caption meaningful for 2k.

2-d phone is a full on mini music system.d sound quality is way above ma sony mp4 player.d phone headphones bundeled wid it r jus to great.its funky,nd does a mindblowing,sorry···earblowing job of gettin u into d beat.d bass,treble,comfort evrytin is great.

3-d phone has a very trendy feel to it.d UI is very friendly.screen display is much better dan expected.its a high resolution clearly.

4-camera is average..d max resolution u cud gt is 1200p.wich is quite clear wen u chk d pics on d pc.

5-the touch wheel is very responsive...extra responsive infact.d technique is to rotate ur thumb ova it,nt slide from left to rite.····guess dats d reason y sum guys found d touch wheel slacky.howeva u cud disable d touchwheel function in d menu if u nt comfortable.

6-d phone jus fits perfectly into d pocket,feels very light bt at d same time sturdy.micromax was a brand wic i neva looked upto untill i bot dis phone.gud job micromax.

at d end of d day,ur gettin more dan for wat u bargaind by buyin dis phone.2165/- is a mere amount.bt u gt a fantastic phone,wic is a fullfleged mp3 player,along wid HQ headphones.

guys jus blindly go for it.u wont hav regrets.

Hi evryone !! This is for the first time i bought value phone. Ive been using HTCs. Needed a second phone which shud b easy to carry and for music. Researched here on flipkart. Was about to order samsung hero, suddenly saw this. Ordered the phone on 9th march aftrnun.....received it today morning.
Overall Impression - very nice and VFM.

Pros:

- gr8 handset for music. Good clarity. SRS n yamaha audio amp
are a delight.
- 2 gb internal memory
- 2 MP camera ( takes decent pictures )
- Touch wheel. Very responsive ( actually over responsive )
- Dome Headset ( which other manufacturer gives u this a 'this'
price? ) .Nice quality.
- Decent Screen size
- Dual sim
- silicon pouch
- sleek n light weight.

Cons:

- vry long in size ( sticks out of hand )
- No expandable memory ( if 2gb internal is not enough for you)
- The set that i got was manufatured in Apr'11. ( nt an issue
though )

Cannot comment on battery. used it for just few hours.
These were the initial impressions. Hope the phone stays upto the expectations.

All this for just Rs. 2165 is a steal !!
