Complaints found in Micromax Q75

Following the suggestions of many of my friends, I baught Micromax Q75 Mobile couple of months ago. My ultimate requirements were battery backup. I found that the battery backup of the set is not what is promised by the company. It gives 2 hours of talk-time and maximum of 2 days standby, whereas according to the company, the battery backup is 7 hours talk-time and 10 days standby backup.

Suddenly, there was a problem in my set yesterday, it went to headphone mode. I took it to the Micromax Service Center. There I found few more people with same complaints. According to the Service Engineers, the handsets is to be taken to Kolkatta and it takes minimum of 1 month. There is not a single spare handset for the replacement. I am using two sims and I have to buy another set to run them. What a hell is this?

I suggest Micromax manufacturing company to look up these drawbacks as soon as possible.

It's your luck

It has no dual standby. It is only dual active. If you busy with any one of number then if any person call you in second sim, it will reply as : the customer you are calling is not responding or swith off or out of range.

Please do not buy this cell. The camare quality is very poor , it is not a 3.2 mp camera, actually it has VGA cam and enhanced to a 3.2 mp cam. The pictures are taken as vga cam but it shows you 3.2 mp size. It is not fair.

The service from the company is pathetic. Actually it is your luck whether you will be able to keep the handset with you or you will throw it outside your window. May God bless you for not going to Nokia.

Q75 is an innovation

I brought Micromax G75 mobile at 5000 Rs after hard negotiations in Pune and I am really surprised with the amazing quality this products has. Speaker sound is just mind blowing and when you will plug in its microphone you will forgot any Apple Ipod. The sound quality is just amazing!!
Moreover the mobile contains all advance feature of internet connectivity like Wifi, Opera mini browser, Facebook-google-youtube applications, Push Email and all with an impressive speed. (I use Docomo number!)
Battery backup is also very good.
Camera resolution is of 3.2 megapixel but is not so impressive. (Although I am habitual of Digicams). Its a dual sim mobile but I am wondering what benifit it will give.
It doesnt come with memory card so you need to buy the memory card as well. I brough 4GM transcend card at 390 rs. So total I payed a sum of 5390.

I am very happy with purchase. Micromax will capture the market soon with Q75.

Pretty decent product.

I brought this mobile 1 year ago for Rs.4500/-. I'm quiet impressed by it's features and performance.

Pros:-
1) Voice clarity is high
2) Opera mini is functioning well both with GPRS and Wi-Fi 3)video and audio players are good with pretty good sound
4) good battery backup and very pretty looks (similar to Blackberry curve)
5) It supports a very good modem speed for GPRS (50kbps is what I've observed) when connected to system for internet. This is a very good feature for a mobile of this price, as most of the phones of this price support only upto some 20 or 30 kbps. So, it's good news for internet users.

Cons:-
1) Camera is really really bad, although the company advertises it as 3.2MP, it's almost like VGA clarity.
2) It's signal reception is quiet lower than that of in Nokia.
3) Although the inbuilt browser(Operamini) supports any network provider, while we connect the phone to a PC for internet only Airtel, Reliance and Tata Docomo work fine. So, if we use idea, Aircel, BSNL etc, we can browse net in phone but in PC. (Note:- I haven't tested Vodafone,Uninor,Virgin etc.,).
4) The inbuilt applications like Facebook and Nimbuzz don't work no matter what you do.
5) We can't listen to songs in background while browsing net on phone.

So, finally what I would like to say is Micromax Q75 is a good choice for those who love music, people who use GPRS very often and those who need good battery backup.
But, people who are looking for a pretty decent camera, forget this.

Hope you found this review useful.... _ Bala.

MicroMax Q75

I had a very bad experience with Q75. Right upfront the mobile does not detect the range for the Network properly and most of my calls either do not connect Or incoming calls get disconnected in between. This is a major irritant and this set is just a sort of useless accessory in my hands.

I am sure there are tons of manufacturing defects in Q75 and I would say that Micromax should do a mass recall of such sets and replace them immediately.Otherwise the future of Micromax would be in a dark tunnel.

Less said about their service the better....

I am person who wants alternative leaders to monopoly companies like Nokia.I wanted to encourage Micromax from that perspective, but I have to say that Micromax was a bad choice.

Good luck to Micromax provided they mend their ways soon.
