Ralph Kimball has been a leading visionary in the data warehouse industry since 1982 and is one of today's most internationally well-known speakers, consultants, and teachers on data warehousing. He writes the "Data Warehouse Architect" column for Intelligent Enterprise magazine. Dr. Kimball's coauthors have each founded their own very successful data warehouse consulting firms: Laura Reeves of StarSoft Solutions; Margy Ross of DecisionWorks Consulting; and Warren Thornthwaite of InfoDynamics LLC.
Joy Mundy is a consultant and trainer at Kimball Group. She was formerly at Microsoft, where she was a member of the SQL Server Business Intelligence product development team.
Warren Thornthwaite is a consultant with Kimball Group, a well-known trainer with Kimball University and a co-author of The Data Warehouse Lifecycle Toolkit. He has an extensive background in data warehouse design and development with such organizations as WebTV, Metaphor, and Stanford University.
