Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32/64 Bit (Full Pack)

I thoroughly impressed with Win 7 home premium version as i have been using this OS for the past couple of years so my recommendation come with my past experience. Due to this i wanted to own a personal copy of WIN 7 for myself to use it any part of world in my personal computer as i travel a lot and also format my PC now and then regularly.

I ordered and realized that the OS is Activation locked for only India location which totally defeats my future usage and purpose.

Spoken to flipkart, hoping for exchange of activation restriction free OS or a refund.

But as for the OS, it rocks, i would highly recommend to get it via flipkart if you were to activate only from India!

The windows 7 home premium or the windows 7 series comes with a lot of amazing features, I like the dedicated search box in every folder and also the search box on the start up menu, the grouping of icons on the task bar is also a really great feature..The windows 7 themes are pleasing to the eye, they are never dull. I have never seen a crash since the day I have been using it. Some features like looking up for updates for driver from third party vendor keeps your system updated all round. windows 7 home Premium is enough for average home usage.

There may be six versions of Windows 7, but unless you need the business features of Professional or Ultimate, Windows 7 Home Premium is the version you want.
But what do you get in Home Premium and is it the right mix of features?

Be it the costly Mac or the free Ubuntu but still Microsoft is at its best. The stats it self says 53% of the people around the world likes to use Microsoft Windows 7.

As said by previous reviewers Windows 7 home premium is ideal and good enough for home users.

First when I ordered it was Rs. 7500 and out of stock but now I got it for Rs. 7200 which is good and made me happy.

There are pros and cons for this to but definitely the pros easily overtake the cons.

3. Ease of use.

4. Instant updates.

6. Unlike the OEM version this retail version can be installed as many times as you want. Also when buying a new system you can format the old PC and install this without any problem as it activates easily.

7. Important features like - internet explorer, cloud drive, movie maker, photo gallery, silverlight, Microsoft security essentials, .NET framework, windows mail and other features comes as updates through windows essentials.

8. Number of wall papers themes and other downloads available for free for windows 7 users. (for original buyers)

9. The operating system itself.

10. Automatically detects troubleshooting required places and driver updates. Sorry I can just keep on listing on as I love this product as it has many to say.

Cons:-

1. Region blocked for activation - Activation has to take place within India.

2. Full fledged support till 2015, extended support till 2020 (come on Microsoft we brought your product you need to support for lifetime as it is your product and that also it is Windows 7 one of the best operating system)

Other than this it doesn't have any cons to list out.

Above all you have a peace of mind regarding updates and support regarding. Also you can keep your chest held high as in a land of pirated users you are one of the genuine users of this product.

I Love myself to be genuine as I bought this product from my own salary without getting a penny from anyone. Also I'm proud that I'm one of the owners of this product and a genuine user.

i have been using this product since 2010 and now got it for my own laptop. it is best for all students and home user as it has all function required for entertainment as well as resonable amount of function supporting your work too. having this makes you tension less and free from formatting and putting new os again and again. ofcourse we may find the cost a bit high as well students are acostumed of free and pirated versions but trust me friends windows 7 home premium worth buying.
