Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows

Although i did not bought this from flipkart, but i got to tell you guys, this is undoubtedly the best controller yet and beats the crap out of dualshock 3...i have 3 of these all bought from the usa.

PROS:#1 plastic built
Very very strong( i have even wacked them..lol).
The most adaptable layout buttons for fifa and win live.
Can work in tandem with xbox and pc.
You can switch the power source (battery pack or microsoft pnp charger, sold seperately ..although using battery pack can be expensive if gaming hours are like 6-7 hours/day like mine :p)

CONS: there is this really big con i would like to mention and its about the usb controller that comes with the controller without which your controller is just a peice of plastic if you tend to play on your computer.The usb controller which provides the 2.4ghz microsoft proprietory frequency is stupid, as it will get heat up and blow fuse itself after a reasonable time of say 1 year...and sigh, this happened to one of my white old baby)

CURE FOR BLOWN FUSE: just go over to the youtube and see how to solder the fuse lines which has broken the circuitry, after that go to an electrician and tell him to solder the joints and you will b good to go)...if you want to save yourself from these hassles, get the wired one..but this case is amongst 10/100 so just be warned.

IT'S A GREAT CONTROLLER AND IS MUCH MORE DURABLE AND SRONGER THAN ANY OF THE 3RD PARTY OR EVEN DUALSHOCKS..JUST GET IT..BELEIVE ME YOU, I HAVE NOW 4 OF THESE

How to switch it off!?!

The controller has no switch to turn it off immediately though it turns off automatically after 10 minutes or so.
So to use the Xbox Guide button to switch off, download XboxExt (Google Search it).

Just open the file XboxExt.exe (No installation required) & press the Guide button (the big X button used to start the controller) for 5 sec. The app runs in backgroud & doesn't start again on restart, so copy its shortcut to
"{Win7Drive}:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\"
Users of previous Windows' versions can find the "Startup" folder in Start Menu>Programs>

This is an awesome controller! Works with Windows and Xbox 360.
Its vibration feedback can beat the shit outta Dual-Shock 3.

Super comfortable design, smooth analog sticks and perfect buttons. Some people may complain that is does not have a On/Off button. Guys it doesn't need one, cu'z it automatically turns off if it does not get a response after 10 mins. Its SMART! ;)

Its a bit costly, but if you take a look at all the features, and you are a mid/high level gamer then I would surly suggest you this one.

This is definitely one of the best products Microsoft Corp. has ever released. I have been using it for the last 2 years and it still works perfectly. These days, most games are ported to be played on the PC so almost 90% of them support the XBOX controller and all GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE games support it as well.

I will recommend this product to all those who love gaming and love gaming using controllers. It is a bit costly, I accept that. But then every great thing has a price. And this is definitely worth it. I have thrown around my controller a couple of times out of frustration (while playing FIFA) but it still works like a charm. Duracell batteries last for about a month with about 2-3 hours of gaming every day.

I made this order on Dec 2 and received the package on Dec 6 2012, the packaging was brilliant as it is supposed to be always! Good job by flipkart once again....the box came in a bubble-wrapping ensuring the safety of the box...as soon as i opened it...i could feel a xbox feel to it! I earlier had the same controller(white,wired) which i bought from a local store..which broke under a month only..:/
Thank god..no wires in this one! Battery lasts good enough making it to 45 hours per battery pack. The response time is awesome and the vibration...wow....now its a shame for me to play using my keyboard..lol...tried playing Batman Arkham City, GTA IV, Mafia II, Sleeping Dogs, Ashes Cricket 2009, Dishonored, Fifa 13, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, NFS The run, NFS Most Wanted 2012 and many more...the controller fabulously and surpassed all my expectations...believe it guys there is nothing better than this product when it comes to gaming....get it guys..i even got some cheaper controllers(enter and atek)...got to tell you guys...xbox wireless controller beats the hell out of the cheaper products...get high-end options if you call yourself a gamer...its a investment ;)
Actually...i hesitated for a while seeing a whopping Rs 3000+ price tag..but believe it people...its really worth the price...the price never betrayed the performance....if you like to play for long hours(6-7 hours+ a day), it is recommended to get the Microsoft plug and play kit too, that comes separate and includes a charger and a rechargeable Battery pack..but if you play like 1-2 hours daily..the batteries that came with this would probably last over 20 days..so you get what you pay for.

Coming to the Box..I got these:

1) Wireless Controller
2) Two standard AA Batteries
3) USB Receiver
4) User Manuals

The buttons are placed really really well..and this beats the shit out of PS3's Dualshock 3 controller....the design is really ergonomic and you won't feel a strain on your hands...get it and you won't regret a bit..!
