Milagrow Redhawk Robotic Floor cleaners

I have been using this product for the last few days and I have to have to say that this really does a better job than my bai. Bye bye Shanta bai!!!

Best 7 Points:

1. Super cleaner - Once I leave it around in my house I don't have to worry at all; when I have important guests coming I make sure to use my robo. UV rays cleaning is the best feature. Ultimate clean.

2. Corner cleaner - Cleans all corners of every room in the house. More importantly, cleans below my bed and sofa where my bai refuses to clean even after nagging her. I use the many diff cleaning modes also.

3. Very easy to use - I actually thought that a robot would be complicated to use. But my redhawk is even easier to use than my microwave. The remote is also neat and simple.

4. Shine Polisher - The mop attached at the back is best to polish my marble floors. I used to polish floors once in 6 months, now I do it daily.

5. More free time - When it cleans it knows that is has to go back to charge. When it is low on battery it auto charges in its smart parking dock. I don't even need to do interfere at all.

6. Economical - The more I think of it the better my investment is. I pay my bai so much money to do nothing and then I have to deal with her nonsense too. No additional costs here :P

7. Special - UV cleaning keeps the home germ free for my baby,. The air in my house feels so pure now. Significant difference. Sweet customer service also.

Guests are jealous of my redhawk and I am sure they will each get one today itself. lol! This product has really been my best buy in the last 10-15 years. I recommend it to people everywhere in India.

After a really long and impatient wait such a product has come to India... Was truly amazed on what I read about this product that I went on to buy it... I believe this product is amazing to the kind of functions it offers, but has been released a bit prematurely.

Cons first -
- Does not really clean the entire room, it circles a few areas but doesnt really know which areas are yet to be cleaned and when it has actually done the entire room.
- The charging station has no battery backup and hence loses all stored information and handling this is not really user friendly
- The cleaning unit has additional functionality that is not available in the remote (such as Zig Zag cleaning), hence defeats the purpose
- Need to manually guide it to places where it has not cleaned, becomes quite cumbersome
- Gets stuck pretty easily in door mats
- Cant really be used for mopping
- Annoying beep once it is fully charged, that you have to manually turn the equipment off

Pros - it cleans the area that it traverses pretty well.

I had seen a similar robot (White colour) when I was in France in Nov 2011. My relatives were using it at ease and I really wanted to purchase one for my home in Delhi but was not able to. Best feature is auto charging - looks like a magic trick when the robot searches, finds and then self-attaches itself to its charging station. And my relatives did not have to do anything at all throughout this. Sometimes they even would pre-schedule it to clean before they came back from work in evening and they did not have to bother after that :) Price is reasonable too : the relatives bought for 390 euros = rupees 24,000+.

I've seen this type of floor cleaning robo in Japan. However, the price was 70K which was not affordable.

Recently we were searching for a home maid (too difficult to find) for my mother. Then I accedently saw this product. Though I've never heard about the company - 'Milagrow' before, I decided to take a chance, which was a right decision.

The investment is complete worth. Its really an amazing product. My mother was so surprised by the way this little robo cleans the entire floor. She says, after cleaning the floor is silky smooth which you can feel. She says its a jaw dropping experience that he founds the charging-dock and self charges.

If you love your dearest ones, this is the best useful product money can buy. BTW, the robo is christened as 'Chitti' (courtesy: Enthiran Movie).

After sales and service quality is still unknown. However, I'm hoping that it won't be bad. Anyway, lets see... :)
