This book tries to captivate the emotions of the human psyche and speaks of the difficulties of the oppressed. It is a sensitive and nuanced collection of stories that explore the myriad of complexities of the human psyche. It gives us information of characters from different strata of society whom the reader would have come across at some point of time in their lives. The stories in this collection deal with important themes like love, identity, relationships and self-discovery. Some of these stories will reveal to the reader the general lack of empathy among people, and the discriminations that minor societies face.

About Kusum Ansal

Kusum Ansal is a writer of novels, poems, short stories, and travelogues. Her books have been translated to English, Punjabi, Urdu, Greek, Russian and French. She has contributed to television, the All India Radio, and the Indian Progressive Writers Theatre Association. She has a Master’s degree in Psychology from Aligarh Muslim University and a PhD in Hindi literature from Punjab University. She organizes a monthly literary meet, Samvad, for creative writers of all languages.
