The Misunderstood Khushwant

The Khushwant known to date is not the real Khushwant. He is not a dirty man but a thinker and visionary. His stories reflect what ails us and what should be done to make society a better place to live in. He consideres a society that encouragesor stands moony staffers, corrupt government servants, unscrupulous politicians, intolerant religious preachers, bigot rioters, lecherous reformers, perverted academics, impatient judges, promiscuous citizens, shameless philanderes, crafty hypocrites, toffee-nosed hypnobs and sneaky scandalmongers, a sick society; a society that refuses to condemn morbidity, scepticism, procrastination, hypocrisy, hypnobbery, intolerance, exploitation, perversion, sexual escapades, double standard of morality, vindictiveness, obscurantism, apathy, sycophancy, corruption, fanaticism and bigotry, a decadent society and a society that is not crime-free and riot-free a blot on us. The real Khushwant does not preach sex, perversion and adultery; he preaches love, brotherhood, sincerity, sympathy, honestry, integrity, self-respect and peaceful co-existence. (From the book).
