About Majid Husain

Majid Husain is an Indian author and educationist. Some of the other books by Husain include Geography of India, Evolution of Geographical Thought, Fundamentals of Physical Geography, World Geography, and Systematic Agricultural Geography. A former president of the Indian National Cartographic Association, and Vice-President of the International Association of Landscape Ecology, Dr. Husain has traveled extensively and has written numerous books on geography. He is the former professor and department head of geographical studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
