A Kafkaesque tale of identity theft that becomes a searing indictment of bureaucratic corruption and conspiracy. Irony and satire run as undercurrents as the film plumbs the absurd levels to which democratic institutions can be manipulated today. It is also an allegory of how a fake identity displaces the real one in contemporary times. And depicts the comman man of Gandhiji.
It isnt the sort of movie that soothes. But it is engaging and gripping for the larger part.

Hits you in the stomachThis is a hard hitting film. Moves a little slowly at times, but the end leaves one flabbergasted by its sheer truth. Worth seeing at least once. It could have ended with the trial being over, but as it says, "there is a little bit left". And that little bit socks you in the stomach.
