Book: Molecular Nanomachines The present work has been undertaken to access dynamism in Physioc-chemical nature of water flowing in river Gomati in Sultanpur district due to recurring addition of sewage and waste water for a period of two years, (i.e.from January 2002 to December 2003) varous physico-chemical parameters including the concentration of heavy metals Cr & Pb have been considered.
Attempts has been made to find out the way for the removal of heavy metals lead and chromium from the sewage and waste water earlier to its pouring inriver. Fly ash activated carbon and china clay have been tried for the purpose.
