Statutory warning : Do not overwhelm your life !

First the facts :

- It gives you a clear insight into what you should focus on. i.e. not money but your passion and your life. GOOD.
- It is an extremely popular book and will anyway sell. AGREED.

Now, My opinion :

I read this book around 2-3 years back. I was thrilled by the beauty of the "revelations" it suggested. I tried doing what the book suggested. The garden, the lighthouse, the sumo wrestler, the pink wire cable, the stopwatch, the roses and the winding path of diamonds - the seven timeless virtues, which will give you an enlightened life.

The garden, the lighthouse, the sumo wrestler, the pink wire cable, the stopwatch, the roses and the winding path of diamonds - the seven timeless virtues, which will give you an enlightened life.

I agree with the points... but after reading a lot of such self management books, I kind of realize that all these self management books help only to an extent. Knowing these things does help. Definitely. But applying them all, in your day to day life is not really a practical thing to do. It looks very artificial. At least it did for me.

So read this books and apply only things that you really value and you'll do much much better. Do not try to follow all the advices to the T. Just accept what you believe in and leave the rest.

Then and only then, in my opinion, reading this book makes any sense.

Wish you guys a wonderful life ahead.

Fable to improve "Standard of Life"

My expedition to "THE MONK WHO SOLD HIS FERRARI" by Robin Sharma, more than a reading book is looking inside of the self. I, regret for not reading in past even though brought it long back, in fact left in the middle. It is always better late than never. People in this age are striving hard day and night to improve the ???standard of living???, which is subjected with materialistic need and gives short-lived joy. Reading this book, chapter-by-chapter is nothing but uncovering the self layer-by-layer and finally reaching to the nucleus of the self. Believe me, it does not tell you to sell your FERRARI/AUDI/BMW/HONDA CITY/blllaaa-blllaaa, but definitely tells you how to live with long lasting joy in this materialistic world?????????.Cheers.

A mantra for success in life

I hate novels in my past days. For me it was just a waste of lumps of money.I too hate the people who read novels too.

But my father suggested me to read this book. Somehow i dared to read few pages and i didn't feel like i should stop reading it.I feel like the clock is not ticking any more...as if the times not passing any-by.With every pages passing by, I can feel my sin soul being refreshed.

This book gives u the seven success mantra to face any possible situation in your life. There are great example which leads this success manta. This book is perfect foe beginners like me and for tha...

A must read. Especially wen you need a THRUST!!

We have always read or at least heard about books that teach us how to live life to the fullest. We have incessantly heard our parents advice to plan everything brick by brick & work with just the target in our mind. Also, personal discovery is definitely a cliche now. This book talks about the same. Wonder what makes it unique?

Practical examples combined with usual mistakes and simple ways to overcome all of our illusioned happiness to help us obtain the true happiness in every little thing we do.

7 timeless virtues, magic rule of 21, ancient rule of twenty make it thought provoking, in spite of the fact that the author seems to be churning the same wood every now and then at different instances throughout the book. Also, I felt the book was a lot mature on the philosophical front. Personally, its a more relevant book for the late thirties, who have a stereotype-life.

(One read and everything is as plain as daylight.)
