    About Edward de Bono

    Edward de Bono, best-known as the Father of lateral thinking, is a Maltese physician, author, inventor and consultant. He is a professor at Malta, Pretoria, Central England and Dublin City University. He holds the Da Vinci Professor of Thinking chair at University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona. De Bono was one of the 27 Ambassadors for the European Year of Creativity and Innovation 2009. Some of the books authored by him include The Use of Lateral Thinking, New Think, The Five-Day Course in Thinking, The Mechanism of the Mind, and Lateral Thinking: Creativity Step by Step, among others.
