Morphy Richards Europa Espresso / Cappuccino CM 4 Cups Coffee Maker

It is a decent coffee maker. I ordered it with Black and Decker Coffee grind mill at Flipkart. The package arrived safely within three days of ordering.
It took some time to get used to making a decent cup of espresso. I won't rate it the best, but for the amount paid, it makes decent stuff. I used good quality arabica beans, properly roasted and ground to the correct fineness, and I was not disappointed. I seldom use the steam nozzle to froth, but whenever I did, the result was good.
Overall, a good deal for money, makes decent coffee and no problems for the first two months of usage. Will post if something goes wrong.

design- very contemporary design from MR. not futuristic but very trendy indeed
product material- just spot on. very high quality plastic. the lid is heavily engineered with multi-layering and have an aluminium chassis. just outstanding.
performance- just expect the performance like a BMW sports car from this legendary brand
brews the coffee so rich that you have to taste to believe.
multiple functions like brew strength controls etc
has a turbo steam nozzle for your cuppuccino.

Cons- only makes four cups
water tank is medium sized, not large

Special tips- Better use filter coffee from Cafe Coffee Day stores or CoffeeDay brand
You will love the original CCD coffee at your home. \m/
Try to use good quality Water, I mean from a water purifier, not directly
from the tap

This coffee machine is relatively easy to use. The quality of coffee is good ( depending on the beans).
The machine tends to get clogged up from time to time due to scaling. Descaling can be done with acetic acid.That too works for some time until the machine clogs up completely.
Here is where your trouble begins. This company has outsourced its repair services.Unfortunately these people have no technical know how about how to repair these machines.Apparently new parts are also difficult to come by.I had to throw away my machine after these people were unable to mend it after 3 months!
Please take my advice and invest in some other coffee machine where they can fix your machine when it goes wrong.

If black coffee, and by this I dont mean Americano, but just black coffee water with frothy milk is your kind of taste then maybe this product is for you but not otherwise.

Quality - The external quality, look and sturdiness of the product is definitely good but it requires great care from the steam nozzle to the glass beaker.

Coffee:
- It requires too much coffee to be put in to brew even about 2 cups of coffee and for daily use that much coffee just doesnt seem feasible.
- Also it gives better results if specific coffee beans are sourced and used as opposed to the general nescafe, bru used in daily households. This too turns out to be expensive and inconvenient for daily use.
- After all the investment and running around it still fails to deliver a good cup of coffee inspite of having a frothing nozzle.
- It just gives a very very average watery, non creamy cappucino style which I guess is not very palatable.

I suggest Prestige models to anyone looking for something similar.

Too much money as opposed to Prestige and some other Indian coffee maker brands and not even half as good.

I havent even bought the product, but I had a question and I called Morphy Richards customer service, which is terrible. They kept interrupting me with a sales pitch as I was trying to ask a technical question and when I asked them to stop interrupting me, they hung up. Why would I trust a company to provide good support after if they cant even assist me in buying their product? I don't think they are capable of answering a simple question like does this espresso make also make regular black coffee. Whether the product is good or not, Morphy Richard's customer service is terrible and has dissuaded me from ever buying their products in India.

This review has nothing to do with Flipkart customer service, which has been very polite and helpful.
