Morphy Richards Insta Cook Electric Kettle

Since it is Morphy...so quality-wise u can trust blindly - it is working extremely well. It looks big in size - but since it is insta cook, i.e. works like a pressure cooker, therefore the size is fair. And although big, but very easily and quickly cleaned. The transparent lid adds to the presentation - i.e. even if it kept outside near ur dining table or in the bedroom. If ur purpose is only to heat water for drinking then this should be used along with another kettle if u wish to save on washing everytime. For hostelers - this one alone is sufficient though. The kettle is extremely useful to make some quick and healthy food. As a comparison for the heat speed - it works faster than traditional heaters that students may use in the hostel. The heat regulator adds to the benefit that it performs an auto cut when a certain temperature is reached and saves ur thing from spilling or getting burnt, even if u forget. I personally wish that Morphy could provide with a small recepie booklet as to what all can be cooked creatively with this besides maggi, tea, milk boil, macaroni boil, corns, rice, steamed vegies, egg boil, soup. So happy Kettling..... :) Enjoy...

Its a very very good product, must have for everyone.Thought I bought it from different store, however I have to write a review about it , as it may help many other people who is looking for good product with reasonable rate.

Plus points:
1. You can cook maggi/ pasta, boil veggies
2. You can boil milk/ tea/ coffee
3. Stainless steel jar and big circumference makes it easy to clean , no odour stays behind
4. You can even sterlize feeding bottles( I use Avent Philips )
5. 1ltr water gets boiled in no time.
6. When travelling with small babies very convinient as you can use it anywhere in airport/ station/ Trains/ hotels ( you just need a plug point)
7.Auto cut off facility, so no need to worry if you forget to switch it off

Negative point:

Stainless steel body of the jar gets hot, so have to operate it carefully when around very small kids.

I am a fan of morphy richards products. Own a toaster and an OTG. It really is a reliable brand. Bought this kettle to use while travelling since have to go to small towns and villages and getting good food is a problem. It is slightly bulky but still worth it.
Pros:
1. powerful- 1200w boils quickly.
2. wide base- easy to clean
3. glass lid- you can keep a check on whats cooking.
4. Plastic steamer bucket- Easily boil noodles, vegetables etc and drain water
5. very good quality steel and plastic.
6. Cheapest on flipkart i got it for Rs2155, MRP Rs2595.
7. A must have for bachelors/hosteliers.
8. Cook vegetables, noodles, upma, boil milk/water/eggs, steam corn etc.
Cons:
Slightly big to carry when travelling.

I bought it from some shop in UP @2100 5 months back as i was going to Kerela for Job,that time I was not aware of that flipkart is also selling it and must recommend it for every hostler or a bachelor living alone...

This kettle is having such a wide neck that it is very very easy to clean it like a cooker because after cooking (maggie, eggs, tea,soups etc...) the most difficult task is to clean it but with this insta cook it is not the case.

that Morphy is not having its service center in Trivandrum...

Bought it from Flipkart a few days ago. The price was 2155 then, has increased somewhat since.

First, Flipkart delivery and service.... Superlative as always. Got it next day of ordering, nicely packaged in bubblewrap, brand new product as promised.

About the product, the look and finish of the product is great compared to other plastic kettles. The glass lid adds to the look. The temperature control setting for different types of cooking comes in very handy, functions like a thermostat. Wide mouth with completely removable lid and flat bottom with concealed heating element making cleaning extremely easy. Plastic basket with a metal stand to be placed below it make it very handy for cooking noodles, seasoning, boiling vegetables, eggs, etc. The heating up is very fast. The overall build quality is extremely good. Overall, a real value for money product, which will be very useful in every home. Go for it.
