I have purchased this mainly for heating water for sterilisation purposes and not for tea making purposes.I must admit i have made the best choice so far.

This kettle can heat the water to its boiling point in under 3-4 minutes and you can the steam coming out of the kettle's mouth.THe machine switches off itself once the temperature is achieved.

Since this require high power, the boiling happens in a jiffy. And the detachable base with power cord helps to easily place the kettle to start boiling.Main jug is portable so you can keep it wherever you want to while still maintaining the temperature of its contents for a while.
Be careful not to touch the sides of the kettle as it is always hot due to metallic content.
I also have Inalsa kettle with 1100 W power and it takes more than 6-8 minutes to boil the water.Even though it looks like plastic body on the outside, it still is hot once the boiling is completed.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend this to those who would like to have steaming hot water in less than 3 minutes.

Coming to the flipkart service, I ordered the product on Monday midnight at 1 AM and noticed the delivery time to be 4-5 days but was eagerly waiting for this product.Surprisingly it was delivered to my house the next day at 1.30 PM. i.e a TAT of just 36 hours.

If you are planning to buy an excellent quality tea maker which not only prepares the tea in less time comparing to gas and ofcourse with a very good taste too, then pls go for it.

Boiling of water takes about 3 min and the switch shut off automatically once the desired temp is achieved.
We can open the lid (by pressing the blue button at top) with bare hands as it (the top) does not get hot while in use.
Brewing function is awesome. (This is specially made for the preparation of tea)
After adding milk, be careful that if you switch on the main button which is located at the top of handle itself then open the lid also as now the automatic button doesn't switch off itself once the boiling is achieved (atleast for us). First time when we prepare tea in this kettle then it didn't work and the tea overflows from the kettle onto the slab and then after we didn't try checking it again.
Initially we were going to purchase electric kettle for preparing tea but they lack brew function in them so we finally make our mind on this product and now fully satisfied.

Overall a very very good product.

I bought this thinking that expensive means high quality. Some observations. First, it really heats up, so you have to be careful to open the lid after boiling water. The lid opens when you press a blue plastic button, which for some reason is right on top, and is obviously very hot! Second, it stopped working after 4 months of mild use. I much liked the quick and very expert response from the repair staff (Bajaj handles this), but the conclusion was that the switch was defective. I wonder what this implies for the quality of the product.

I bought this electric kettle cum tea maker as a gift for my mother from a store. Few good things:

* Boils water instantly
* Since my mother is an avid tea drinker and loves treating her guests with a cup of tea, the brew function is superb; can be used for re heating the tea and extracts flavor from tea leaves perfectly
* The cylindrical body (and non tapering mouth) means easy cleaning and de-scaling
* Although they supply an external tea strainer as part of package, you do not need it at all as the internal removable strainer filters out all the tea leaves
* Cordless means freedom of carrying around
* The base station cord is long enough even if the power socket is far away

My mother is very happy with it and has already put the old electric kettle to grave.
