Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mortal Kombat offers a variety of new fight moves to players. The single-player mode will introduce you to an all new game engine that has help restored all the in-game graphics to its prime glory. You can start fighting against your opponents as soon as you switch on the game. Various game modes are available that include a story mode and a Challenge Tower mode.
Challenge Tower mode is especially interesting as there are more than 290 specific challenges to complete. As you progress through this mode you will earn an in-game currency that can be used to overcome difficult challenges. Challenges include Test Your Might: where you have to rapidly press buttons and destroy blocks at specific time periods, Test Your Sight: here you follow an object that is hidden under a cup or a skull and then choose that object after a shuffle, Test Your Strike: here you destroy a selected block from a stack and many others.
Online Features
Hand-to-hand-games are best fought against human counterparts and Mortal Kombat does not disappoint in this aspect as it has a great multiplayer component. You can select your favourite characters and battle it out against 4 players through tag team matches. You can build a team of 2 and log in online to fight against other teams. This is a great addition as you can challenge the best players from across the world and see where you stand against them in skill, strength and game play.
Different gaming modes are offered in online multiplayer. These include King of the Hill: a mode where 8 players can watch matches as spectators and then take on the winner of the match to win the ultimate prize. Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition
Amazing game, amazing graphics and bucketloads of blood and gore.
The way the blood spatters on you and your opponents is amazing, not to mention the way the characters start looking bloody and broken after multiple rounds.
Nonetheless, still defies natural laws, when a characters spine and organs are crushed and they can still perform normally :P. X-ray attacks are vicious and fun and can be a match ender if timed perfectly.
Characters are beautifully defined, stages are even better.
Gameplay is loads of fun, even for the unitiated.
I must agree with the last reviewer that Shao Kahn is an incredibly cheap $@#%#$%#$, but that makes beating him that much more fun.
The price for the game is phenomenal!
and the atmosphere in the room gets amazing competitive when you play with a friend!!!!!

Mortal Kombat always has been one of the best fighting game series that i am a big fan.i started playing the first mortal kombat on the nintendo..and i did play it for a long long time.but now in this new era and generation of graphics..the latest mortal kombat komplete edition,has one of the best graphic details you will ever see for eye candy stuff.the game play is awesome with a lot of new moves and all new tricks to deliver,plus you have a new combo attack which is called the X-RAY attack(similarly to super combo in street fighter 4) this all new X-RAY attack does take out a lot of damage and it makes the game more fun and worth playing.
overall i would rate this game 5/5 . it is one of the best games in the fighting genre amongst the mortal kombat series i have ever played.all mortal kombat fans..do buy this game..its worth every PENNY!!!

I have both Mortal Kombat Komplete edition (xbox) and Mortal Kombat for PS3 (just for kratos). What a game!!! I have been playing MK since its first release of MK4.
MK Komplete edition (as name suggests) it includes all the downloadable characters (Komplete Roster). For those who don't connect their x-box/ps3 to internet then this is the best buy. As other reviewers mentioned it got all the best things you would expect from a game.
This time around MK developers done great jog by making the game 2D fighting scale( that means no weird angles which leads to loads of confusion) and arcade style fight mode ( every characters have one unique fighting style ). All these things leads to one simple, easy to understand and kick ass gaming experience.
Now what do I say about flipkart which everyone don't know (nothing). On time delivery, in mint condition. Flipkart Rocks.

First thing first, thanks to Flipkart for amazing collection of games and services.
MKKE - is an excellent game with hours of fun. This is my first game on console, have been a PC fan. I'm still trying to get along with controllers and I recon MKKE is the best fast game which will give me goods hands-on on XBOX controllers.
The Fatality and X-ray features are amazing. The live backgrounds are amazing and gives a sci-fi effects. I'm rating it 4/5, don't miss this.
